| McIntosh Clan Facts The McIntoshes originated from the Highland Clan which was close to The Loch Ness and very near to the area of Moray The McIntosh name was originally spelled: Mac an Toisich which means: "Son of the Chief or Thane." The Clan Tartan is red and black {Note} Isn't it ironic that my mom's ansestors [Monroes] were from across the Loch Ness and dad's ancesters [McIntoshes] originated on the opposite side |
