Cooking I was a student at the Doctor Martin Luther King Junior Career Center where I studied Culinary Arts. I hope to go to the University of Alaska Anchorage for the culinary arts program and become a chef.

Challenge Alaska I love to go on Challenge Alaska activities. Copper River Rafting, Susitna Landing Fishing trips on jet boats, Skiing, Snow Machining, Trading Places Cultural Exchange Program with the Hawaiian Independent Living Center

Fishing I love to fish at Jewel Lake and then bring the fish I catch home and cook it for dinner.

ROTC I was a member of the ROTC Navy unit at Chugiak High School in 1998 (see our unit's picture under photo album.) Then at Bartlett High School in 2000 I was in the ROTC Army unit. For awhile I was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol at Merrill Field in Anchorage.

Computers I really enjoy working with computers and playing various computer games, especially flight simulators. Now I'm learning how to do web pages.

Karate I was a student of Mr. Pavlas during 1997 and 1998 and earned the Blue Belt.

Psychological Counseling I have been studying psychology and counseling with some expert teachers. Perhaps some day I can help young people who have problems with techniques and methods that will enable them to have confidence and self control just as I have learned from them.

Newspaper writing I have been helping edit and write for the North Star news.

Travel I visited Disney World in Florida with my family during Christmas 2001. After spending some time there we went up to Philadelphia and New Jersey to visit relatives before returning on New Year's Eve.
