Everyone arrived bright an early at 10.00 am at Hampstead Heath (even though l one person was partying until 6.00 am). We were about as co-ordinated as wet spaghetti (including John) when it came to the warm up. The 4 runners finished with very respectable times between 28-42 minutes (Esther 'the athlete' coming 1st at 28 minutes and Hasina 'the training dodger' finishing in 35 minutes. The runners waited at the finish line with John to cheer Christine and Charmain as they crossed the finish line at 55 minutes....... achieving Christine's personal goal to finish the race within 1 hour.
The day was very nicely finished off by all with 'oh la posh' pancakes .........
