Diversity abounds on the JET Program. I've met people from all sorts of countries, and each of us have our own ambitions, experiences, and reasons for working in Japan. However, the one all-encompassing force that surrounds us and brings us together, forging frienships which will last a lifetime, is not our shared understanding of English. Its our shared love of MEXICAN FOOD!!! And for every comment of, "I can't wait to go home and see my family!" that I hear, there are at least two others who say, "When I go home, I am going to eat Mexican food 24-7..."
