BUT, as you can see -
not all learning takes place in the classroom...
(These guys are members of the Biology club, who took a trip to visit the various "big trees" around the area.  The rope around the tree marks it (I think) as a place "where God resides".)
(Ahh, lab classes...  What is this - Biology?  Looks like fun!)
(Looks like this is from Chemistry class.  I feel bad that I don't know these teachers' names...  I wonder how different these classes are from my high school science classes?)
(These guys are (I believe) 1st year students who took a class hiking trip to the mountains on the western side of the prefecture.)
(Here's something that see a lot in school - students coming into the staff room to get help from their teachers.  With teachers not having their own "rooms", the staff room becomes the hub of student-teacher interaction.)
