So we want to make poverty history?

We’ve had the slogans…. 

We’ve had the concerts….

 The adverts…. 

The world leaders have met to discuss poverty….AGAIN….. 

We’ve had Comic Relief…. 

Every year….. 

Yet what is changing? 

Where is the solution? 

A long term self sustainable solution.. 

‘In Making Poverty History.’ 

Where and what is the answer? 

Why have we NO answer?

 Well we do now… 

D.A.A.P.A – Direct Action Against Poverty Abroad

 Not just a name..

But an exciting game..

With a rainbow frame..

No rules just fun,

Uniting us as one..

And it hasn’t even begun..

Where anyone & everyone can play..

And create a structure, like moulding clay..

To shape & fit the needs, of those suffering everyday..
 

You see,  

I made a few promises,

To those in need,

A few years back,

When I wrote a poem called..

‘A Messy Century’,

and just one of the verses said, 

‘to all the kids that’ve NOT eaten, 

don’t worry cos we’re NOT beaten,

we’ll be there, as soon as we can,

to help you out and get a tan,’

So what is D.A.A.P.A and how did it evolve?

 Well we know what D.A.A.P.A stands for..
