House of Religion

     Below is a bird’s eye view of a new aged proposal I like to call the ‘House of Religion’, which has a soul aim of uniting and weaving the religious realms under ‘our’ sky as ‘one’, as it should be.

           As you can see there are four corners, each representing the four main religions of Earth, starting with Islam the most recent one. Each corner is to have their own individual architecture to represent their personal unique realm or realms.

          The principal idea behind this amalgamated structure is to weave a new aged tapestry to tell the story so far……

          My overall ‘aim’ of the building is to take you on a tour, in a modern day labyrinth going back in time to tell and weave the story of religion, and her roots.

The other aim behind this woven tapestry is to show, how all religions and cultures are very similar. If everyone just took the time to adjust their heads to see what angle their fellow mankind are coming from, then their ‘points of view’ would become crystal clear as long as they DON’T promote death or violence.

However, in this modern day of fast paced lifestyles, we don’t get the chance to see the ‘similarities’ but ONLY the ‘differences’, so the House of Religion will do it for you.

The Islamic corner will be constructed out of Arabic/Islamic décor both external and internal, ancient yet new to represent her realm. The Christian corner like an English Cathedral styled architecture to represent the Christian realm of this land.

The third corner out of Jewish structure to represent Judaism, and then the final corner to be made out of Indo Eastern structures to represent Arya-Vartha and her many realms and –isms.

          eg; Aryan-ism (aka Hinduism), Juda-ism, Zoroastrian-ism, Buddh-ism, Tao-ism,        Sikh-ism etc.

          The principal idea behind this amalgamated structure is to weave a new aged tapestry to tell the story so far……

We are writing and making the history of the future, every step and move we make, and we all have a ‘right to play a part’ in moulding it, as long as it doesn’t hold an aura of negativity behind it.

Each and every single one of us have individual DNA, fingerprints, thoughts and personalities, just like a person who walks on the beach leaving a trail of their footprints and artwork, each one of us has a right to do the same with life.

This building can be like a time capsule that will tell the story so far, in human evolution and how we as a nation, and a United Kingdom, after many wars, racism and other negativities tried to come together.

WHY?

To TRY, and play a part to STOP, and end these obstacles that prevent the human race to step over the barriers of friction, created by hate, evil and negativity.

          The middle section is to be a dome, which will hold a ‘Mini-World’ section that will have a flattened three-dimensional structure of the world, which will help bring the tour to completion.

          This way the whole world will be represented in an artistic and equal way so no country, or her culture, will be left out, and all have an equal part in playing a role in this multi-cultural interwoven tapestry. 

This way Egypt, China, Africa, Russia, South America and all the other ancient cultures can be represented within the ‘House of Religion’, even though, they may not have originally practiced any of the religions originally.

This way it becomes an all welcoming and universal building representing the world as one on the soil of the United Kingdom. The dome like structure in the centre of the building turns the ‘House of Religion’ into a mandala from above, also amalgamating the realms of the old with the realms of the future, after all it’s all about weaving…….

          The other positive aspect about this building is that it will play a vital role as ‘The Filter of Negativity’ and ‘The Gateway’ to weave the fabrics of our society and future together. After all, a garment is only held together when the fabrics have been woven together, otherwise it will simply fall apart, same with society and communities, national and international.

          This way any person from any faith, or even atheists can walk in and be enlightened by all religions, learn about their similarities and their ties with one another, and walk out realising that we are all of the same nest even though we may look different or speak different languages.

          It can also be a centre spot for future events that maybe related to this new realm, and hold a library for those who want to move forward or study in these areas. It becomes a powerful building amalgamating the realms of religions, cultures, countries, time and history, the past and the future, and helps cancels the negativity we witnessed during the Asian riots, Damilola Taylor - Stephen Lawrence like cases and any others.

          This also stops any fears of mass conversions, loss of culture or religion, by those who still value their ancient ways of life, and also to put them together as one……as they should be….

It also becomes a mind-altering ‘Universal’ building, to help people see a new aged Britain, one that is multi cultural, with a strong stance of self-preservation. After all, what a boring world it would be if we were all the same, don’t they say ‘variety’ is the ‘spice of life?’

          On the very land where Jesus once walked the land is being drenched in blood as if the land desires this, people are dying and crying, every other day from both communities.

What respect do either groups of peoples claiming they are Holy have towards the very reasons that land could be considered Holy?

          One group believes that Jesus is yet to be born, yet what have they done to prepare for his arrival? What would Jesus or ANY God think of those people who lived in those regions?

          Do the Israelis get God given confirmation with gold plated watermelons with diamonds as seeds every time they kill and oppress Palestinian people? 

          On the same front do the Palestinian chickens lay golden eggs every time they blow themselves up in the Israeli section of their shared land?

          Of course not, yet each group continues this childish game of ‘tit for tat’ and ‘eye for an eye’, Jesus and God would be both shaking their heads in shame and disgust.
