Algeciras 2002
We flew from London Gatwick airport on the 2nd august to Malaga airport in the southern tip of Spain arriving around 6pm local time. After getting some much needed refreshments, we were soon aboard the coach to commence our 3-hour trip to Algeciras.

Our destination was the Hotel Reina Cristina, a fabulous and historic hotel. See

During the day there was plenty to do. I managed to give archery and  'javelot' a go. Apart from that, we spent the days playing Crib, mucking around on the mini-golf course (unlucky Rachel), thrashing tennis balls around on the tennis court (unlucky Rachel), and catching some sun on the Playa del Getares beach nearby.

Evening. Oh yeah, my favourite part of the day. As the sun was getting ready to turn in for the night, the hotel really came to life, and as the holiday was an all-inclusive, to quote the great Mr Connolly, you could drink as much as you like! And we did...
