The pubs in Flitwick vary drastically in their atmosphere and the clientele they attract. They range from ye aulde english charm of 'The Wheatsheaf' to the modern sex appeal of 'The Bumblebee'.
As you can see from the pictures, with the exception of the Bumblebee, they are 'public houses' in all senses of the word, and this is reflected in the friendly and relaxed atmosphere that greets you when you enter. My personal favourite is 'The Swan' - serves a great pint of Jamaican 'Red Stripe' lager/Eagle IPA for �2.25 per pint - with its pool table, large screen TV for footy matches, great 70s-90s jukebox, and extensive beer garden. |
