| The previously mentioned Millpond along lower East Avenue. Early settlers of the area built a dam and a mill here over 300 years ago. The last product made was wood trim for fancy Victorian houses in the area. It was torn down around 1900. Scroll Down The oldest cemetary in town. The grave sites are from the early 1700's to early 1900's. The old section is to the south, which in this photo is to the right. To the left is Mary Willet. I hope that's not a portrait.
