Why Me? is a Lambert movie I've paid very little attention to before now - I'd only watched it a couple of times. How come?
Probably because it's dificult to find a copy of it that isn't some crummy old ex-rental tape - why the heck isn't it on DVD!?
If only anyone had actually heard of or seen this movie... it's got cult-classic written all over it!

Ah well, enough ranting, onto the review.

Why Me? sees our hero teaming up with Christopher Lloyd, another favourite actor of mine.
It's always unusual to see Christophe co-starring alongside prominent U.S. actors.
Togther they're Gus and Bruno (cool names!), a couple of jewel thieves that find themselves with a ruby ring that everyone's very keen to get their hands on.
What follows is just under 90 minutes of good fun with lots of lovable characters goofing around.

The script is full of charm and wit, and the actors all fit their roles wonderfully
Christophe is no exception - breezing along with a cool haircut and his character comes across as a mixture of those in Subway and Gunmen.

However, One thing I would've changed is the use of 'f' word in the movie - this could have been a fun family favourite if it weren't for the bad language.
JT Walsh's character (Chief Inspector Mahoney) is the main offender, and his character wouldn't lose too much if some of his language were to be toned down.

If you haven't caught Why Me? yet, then you definatly should!
Just go down to your local video store and root around in the big pile of ex-rentals grumble grumble... it's one that'll suck you into it's little world of frantic fun more and more each time you watch it!
