6.1.03: Life On The Edge
We did it!!!!!  Today was the opening of "Life On The Edge" and I'll be the first to say that the show went better than expected.  We had a couple minor difficulties during this morning's dress rehearsal because I couldn't hear myself sing through the floor monitors, but we got that fixed by the show and everything went really well, so I was happy.  First and foremost, I just wanna take some time to thank everyone who came out and supported us today!  I had a BLAST performing for all of you, it was way cool meeting you guys afterwards!  I think the coolest thing about it for me is hearing so many people (especially people who have seen me perform before) be like "Ooh, we didn't know you sang!  And boy, can you SING!"  That was definitely cool.  So, a big thanks to all the people who came out to see the show!  You're the reason we do this!!!  I also wanna give a shout out to James, our awesome director, for working around my always-crazy schedule!!!  Thank you for listening to my ideas and letting me have a creative say in what went on up there on stage.  I appreciate it and hopefully we didn't let you down. :)  To the cast - wow, you guys...I can't believe it's over!!!  It seems like yesterday we were getting our scripts and doing vocal rehearsals...ha ha ha.   I am so glad the show came together they way it did, and it was a pleasure having the opportunity to work with all of you.  Last weekend, I had the chance to host the first annual "Starred For Life" Awards and I was also nominated for an award, which I won, so that was REALLY exciting!  I was just excited to be sharing the stage with SO many talented people, and then to win an award on top of that...that was very cool.  Those awards should be airing sometime soon...I know, as in the case with all shows, they're taped in advanced, even though there was a live audience.  I don't have dates and times though, but I'll see what I can find out for you and we'll get it posted ASAP.  I wrote my monologue for that, which I was really proud of, so you'll have to check that out when they air it!  He he he...I also did an autograph signing this week, and that was AWESOME!  I went to my old elementary school to promote "Life On The Edge" and to talk about my career in entertainment, so I went around to quite a few classrooms for about half an hour each, and they asked me questions and then I signed autographs!  That was surreal...I could definitely get used to doing autograph signings more often than I do!  He he he... =D  And going back to my elementary, seeing how everything's changed - whoo, it was so different.  Seemed really small...lol.  But yeah, everyone there was SUPER nice and incredibly supportive.  I got to talk to a couple of my old teachers, and for that I was really thankful.  So, yeah...that's basically what's been going on with me lately - promotion, show, more promotion, another show!  It's been a lot of fun and we'll have some new pictures up for you guys in about a week or so, so keep checking back!  Hopefully I can get ahold of some performance caps from "LOTE", so yeah - keep your eyes peeled!  Well, I've already heard a lot of people asking what's next up for me, and right now, I don't know what I'm allowed to say...there are more than a couple opportunities that have been presented to me, and this week, a few of my friends are graduating high school, so I'm gonna go to that and yes, I'm singing there.  Then, I'm going to take a week or two off, and I know for sure I'll be doing some stuff in Ohio in early August, and the website is the best place to find out exactly what I have been and will be up to!

Thanks again for making the opening of "LOTE" so awesome, and I hope to talk to you all again very soon!
I have the coolest fans ever!!!!!!

Love,
CHRIS

8.2.03: What's Comin' Up!
As you guys can all see, there is a ton of stuff going on and we're getting ready to come back into the spotlight full swing!  Thank you so much for the support and feedback while I was on hiatus...I know it seemed like forever, but rest assured, I definitely enjoyed my break!  Now I'm back, and like I said, there is SO much goin' on right now...I just got done with two different photoshoots and we've got the pics up here on the site around here somewhere...ha ha.  It's cool, because I got to work with an amazing photographer who made me feel like a total rockstar.  He wanted show some different sides of me, which I think he really captured in the shoot, so I'm really happy with them.  The first shoot took about four and a half hours and went really well.  Then, for my second shoot, I worked with another studio and a different photographer who I wasn't as happy with, but hey, it's all part of the business. :)  So, yeah - we're doin' a lot of press and we're gettin' ready to start promotin' some of my upcoming projects I've been workin' on! (which we're keeping under wraps right now...he he).  What I will say is that right now I'm rehearsing for some upcoming shows, and we're gonna be back doin' live shows in September, so I'm so excited!  I miss performing for live crowds - I'm so used to performing for my friends and mirrors...definitely ready to get out there and show you guys what I've been workin' on all summer!  Whoo, and I just bought myself a really cool guitar, so I'm workin' on that too.  Won't be doin' any shows with the guitar yet, that's for sure...lol.  What else?  Ah, Friday, I'm gonna be in Indianapolis to see Kelly Clarkson at one of her tour stops, so I'm really excited.  I've seen her before, and that girl puts on a SHOW!  And what a voice...she's incredible!  Once again, I wanna send out my sincere apologies to my fans in Ohio - I'm so sorry I couldn't be there this week!  Y'all rock, though!  Okay, well, I hope you guys like the new look for the site - I know I'm diggin' it, so thanks again for your support, and I'll see you at the shows soon!

6.20.03: Diabetes Charity Performance
I've been having so much fun lately - last week I performed two songs at the 1st Annual Charity Cookout for the Diabetes Foundation.  Being a performer is cool, because you're asked to perform at a lot of different events and functions, and it's good to know you're affecting people in such a positive way.  We got there early, talked to the DJ and did a quick soundcheck.  Since the performance was in a hotel parking lot, we met with the hotel management and organizers of the event.  They told us they were big fans and everyone there was really nice and accomadating - they even paid for us to come back and have a private party in the hotel for my friends and I, so that was really cool.  Just want to throw in a quick shoutout to Dodi and all my new friends at AMS Entertainment!  So, with that finished, I get to take some time off, and then it's back to work.  We'll be working on a lot of press stuff after my hiatus - there's a couple photoshoots lined up and then I'm starting rehearsals for the live shows coming up - I'm not sure what we've confirmed so far - we haven't really got to sit down and take a look at what we want to do, because we've been so busy lately, but I know there are a few appearances booked.  What am I gonna do while I'm on hiatus, you ask?  Hehehe...I'm gonna get to see Kelly Clarkson in concert again!  I've seen her before, and she's just one of the most naturally talented performers to come around in a long time, so I'l really excited about that!!!  We also just found out that we're gonna have to cancel my trip to Ohio, so I'm really sorry to everyone who was looking forward to seeing me perform!  Also, my friend Mischa is starring in the new FOX show,  The OC, so be sure to check that out when you get a chance!  I'm sure she'd love ya for it!  Okay, well that does it for me right now.  I'll talk to you guys when I get back from my hiatus!  Later!
5.14.03: Whoo hoo!
Hey everyone!  As you can probably imagine, I've been incredibly busy lately and haven't had much of a chance to check out the site at all lately.  Basically, I just finished a tour of six "private performances" (basically meaning those shows were "invite only" performances) and we're finishing up rehearsals for "Life On The Edge"!  Eighteen days until it opens!  That's less than three weeks - and there's a promotional flier (click here to go to the "Promotions" section of my website) that you can print out and post around to help promote the show too!  We need to spread the word because this is a really good show we're really proud of, so please help us get the word out and get your promote on!  LOL!  I have two or three more private performances coming up toward the end of this month and then like I said, "LOTE" opens June 1!  We'll have venue information up soon, rest assured.  I also recently had the opportunity to perform a cover of Green Day's "Time Of Your Life" onstage with my very good friends from the band Less Like You at one of their shows.  I just went to see one of their shows and they invited me up onstage, so that was definitely cool.  Y'all put on one heck of a show...thanks again for your support!  Yesterday, I did a four hour photo layout with an awesome photographer (who was also named Chris), but yeah - they made me feel like a total rockstar, and from what I've seen the pictures should be pretty cool.  I'm gonna go back in there in about 3 weeks and check out my proofs, so if they turn out, we'll see about postin' some on here.  :)  I went in and changed 6 times and it was cool because going in, we had an idea of what we wanted, and he took our ideas and made them happen.  I was really happy with the shoot, so we'll see what happens.  Well, I am off to yet another vocal rehearsal for "LOTE".  Thank you guys for your contiuned support and I hope y'all plan on getting tickets to the show!  There'll be venue info coming soon - keep checking back to the "appearances" page!  Thanks again!  Talk to you soon!

4.06.03: Whirlwind
Wow, guys...things are awesome right now...right now,  we're workin on lines and music for "Life On The Edge".  One of the vocal directors was a vocalist at the funerals at the Columbine High School tragedy, and we have a lot of really talented names working with us.  We've started blocking and we're moving really fast.  We have less than two months until opening night and we're really gonna need your guys help!  We want to promote this thing like crazy...we have people that are making t-shirts for us and I know there are some promotional banners on the site now, so please, please, please...use 'em.  This is an awesome production and we want to hype it up!!!  Whoo!!! :)

I recently had the chance to go back to my old elementary school and perform!!!  That was so cool!  Actually, I went in and performed for a group of about 30 kids after school for their after-school child care program.  I did "What It's Like To Be Me" and then I answered some questions the kids had for me.  It was really cool to go back and get to do my thing for them...and to see all of the old faces that supported me throughout the years...it was definitely cool.  :)

There is SO much going on right now, I'm trying to keep my head on straight...Kim (my assistant) and I are working very closely right now to get things ready for my upcoming dance performances...we're not announcing dates yet, because we're still in the stages of confirming everything that's going on with that, but I'm almost positive I will be doing at least one show in May.  Well, I gotta go for now, so I'll see you guys a little later!

CHRIS

3.31.03: First Rehearsal of "LOTE"
What's goin on!?!  :)  How's everybody feelin'?  Whoo-hoo!  I know it's been a while since I've updated, but here I am once again!  I'm feeling a lot better and tonight was the first rehearsal for "Life On The Edge" which everyone here at the site is calling "LOTE" for short, I guess...I was crackin' up at that.  LOL. But yeah, we went in and did a full run-through with our scripts and music tonight.  We haven't started blocking yet (for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, blocking is where the director place the actors where they're supposed to be onstage when they talk.) but we're jumping into that next week, so things are moving fairly quickly, considering tomorrow's two months until the opening night!!!  This show is different from stuff you're used to seeing me in, but it's looking like it's going to turn out really well, and the girl that plays opposite of me (Tabitha) is AMAZING!!!! Y'all are gonna fall in love with her the minute you hear her belt her first note...oh my gosh...she's incredible.  We have a awesomely talented cast, and I'm really excited to see how everything progresses along as we keep rehearsing.  It's opening June 1 if you don't already know! :)  Wednesday morning I have a meeting to discuss an upcoming dance performance where I
may be headlining, meaning I would probably end up doing about 4 songs with the dancers.  I'm not sure what all is going to be involved with that, but I will definitely keep you guys informed on that!

Okay, well, that's basically what's goin on!  LOL!  Y'all better stay in touch! :)

CHRIS

3.07.03: Birthday News & A Short Update

This past week was my 17th birthday and I just wanted to thank everyone for sending e-mails and cards...y'all are just too cool!  I just sorta layed low this year -- didn't really do anything except go out to dinner with a couple friends.  Other than that, nothing really exciting happened (mainly because I've been sick recently), but yeah.  I've gone to a couple auditions this past week, but after going to the audition, it wasn't something I thought I'd be interested in.  Um...let's see...well, basically what's happening now is that I'm taking a couple weeks off and then I'm going to start rehearsing for Life On The Edge and while that's going on, I'm going to be choreographing stuff for some possible dance performances a little later this year.  I dunno...there's just a lot that's up in the air right now, so we'll see where we go from here! :)

And I'm out for now...

CHRIS

P.S.  If you guys get a chance, be sure to drop by the messageboard - I'll be on there quite a bit this week trying to talk to people and answer questions, so I'd love to talk to you guys!  Thanks again for your incredible support throughout the past few years...you guys are seriously all amazing!  I seroiusly think I have the best fans in the world!  I can't to see what's up next for us...
1.1.03: First Entry Of The New Year
First and foremost, Happy New Year!  I know it's been entirely too long since I've written, but me and the crew have been REALLY busy lately!  Things have been going really well and we just finished up a performance at MCHS on December 21.  It was a little smaller crowd than we were used to, but I know a lot of people were probably busy with the holidays.  But yeah, thanks to everyone who came out and supported us!  It was also really cool because we have a new dancer now!  Her name's Libby and she's so super-talented!  She's filling in for Stacy while the doctors treat her for patella sydrome in her knee.  If you'd like to send Libby some love, click here!  Stacy's doing well and recovering rather quickly.  Okay, also something you shold know about is that my performance for this Saturday (January 4, 2003) was cancelled because of a booking conflict, so I won't be performing then, but it's cool because we're working on more new stuff for some shows a little later.  We've had a lot of booking problems in the past months, but we're working it out.  Oh yeah...we have a roadie now!  Her name's Kim and she basically keeps us organized.  She makes sure our dressing rooms are in order and our stuff is cool so we can just worry about going out there and putting on a great show.  We love her to death already and she does a great job, so hopefully she'll stick around for a while. :)  That's it for now.  Talk to you guys later and thanks for stickin with us!

11.30.02: I've Got Some News...

Hey everyone!  First off, we decided to delete all my old entries from when I was performing with the pop duo "Chris & Heather" because so much has changed and now that I'm performing as a solo artist, we just thought it would be better and save a lot of space if we just totally re-started, so that's what we did!  Okay, now that's out of my system, I'll let you know exactly what's been going on with me lately...Well, I just got back from a two month break and right now, I'm basically sitting on my hands waiting to hear from a couple of venues about scheduling future performances for a little later this year, so we'll see what happens. :) It's been so long since I've been on stage and I miss performing...my performance in September went really nicely, except for some minor technical difficulties that couldn't be helped.  I did a short interview on the field with the emcee of the event and then we went back under the stadium into the greenroom and we were just getting ready for our performance.  Anyway, I decided to go back up into the stadium and say hi to a couple of friends and fans, and the crowd saw me and started chanting my name, so that was SO COOL!  Then, right after that, my back-up dancers came up and we performed our new song, "Bring It To Me" for the first time ever!  The crowd really seemed to like it, and I was really happy with it.  We watched the video afterwards and were all REALLY happy with how things went, and I know we're all ready to get back out there on stage and keep performing for you guys!  Also, one of my dancers, Stacy was been diagnosed with patella sydrome in her knee, which she explained as her joints rubbing against each other in opposite ways, so she has been resting since our last performance, and she's doing really well.  She thanks you all very much for your kind words and thoughts!  We've been working on the site quite a bit recently and are in the process of working on a new design and getting rid of some stuff, so look for a brand-new design coming in early 2003!  I will definitely talk to you all very soon and look for some performance dates on the "Appearances" page coming sometime in December!  Thanks for your support!  I love you!

CHRIS
2.26.03: Thank You
I just felt like I should write something in here thanking everyone who had planned on seeing me perform tomorrow evening.  As many of you already know, I was forced to drop out due to illness.  I have sinisitis and the doctors and my mom are just wanting me to get a lot of rest and take it easy.  I just got over an upper respiratory infection and my immunity is really low right now, so I've just been laying around and drinking a lot of fluids.  I was really looking forward to having the chance to perform for everybody, and I'm really sorry I can't be there, but to those who are still going -- I hope you have an awesome time and be sure to cheer on my good friends in the band, Less Like You!  I'm sure they'll rock enough for both of us!  Thanks again for your e-mails and letters...talk to ya later.

2.15.03: A Crazy Schedule, But Paying Off

Well, guys, for those of you who don't know...I've been sick for the last few weeks with an upper respiratory infection
that I just couldn't seem to get over, but now that I'm doing better, my schedule is a whirlwind, man!  I signed on to do a brand new play called "Life On The Edge" and I'm so psyched to be back in the theatre.  I think we're gonna start rehearsals for that in March, though.  What's taking up most of my time right now is rehearsing for my upcoming performances.  I'm gonna be doing a song at the "Living Unity Extravaganza" again this year.  They asked me back and I had such a good time last year, I was like "Why not?!  Let's do it!" :)  I've been working my butt off for that, man!   I'm really looking at debuting a new song there, depending on what the production team wants me to do.  If not, I'll be performing "Bring It To Me" (an exclusive, new, revamped version!!!)  Either way, you guys will be seeing some new stuff, so, yeah!  LOL.  I'm also getting ready for Wednesday...my production label is hosting open auditions for backing dancers for me, and I'm gonna be teaching them all a dance and then myself and the other judges are gonna narrow it down, but from the sounds of it, we're gonna have a great turn out and hopefully we'll be seeing a lot of talented people!  Well, I just thought I'd drop by and post somethin...I hope y'all had a great Valentine's Day.  Thanks for all the e-mails!  I love you too! <3  Hope to see you at my shows very soon!

1.11.03: Getting Recognized

Hey, I'm keeping up with this...whoo-hoo!  I just wanted to post and send out my EXTREME THANKS to everyone for their overwhelming amount of support and interest in myself, my performing, and my dancers lately!  I've got recognized a few times now out shopping and it was the funniest thing in the world because during the show on December 21, during the dance break, I ripped out my pants.  LOL!  And one of the fans that recognized me was like "Did you rip your pants during your performance?" and that to me was the funniest thing that someone noticed, because it was pretty well hidden, they just said they noticed it on a video they'd taped of it.  I was like "Yeah, that's really funny you noticed!  That's so cool!"  and started laughing.  Anyway, we shook hands and went our seperate ways and about a half an hour later, I got recognized again.  I think my friends were beginning to hate me...lol!  Not to mention all the e-mails we've been getting!  Thanks...this is what I live for!!!  I'll admit we were all a little insecure with the show with it being such a small crowd, but you guys made us feel amazing!  I'm going to be doing quite a bit of behind-the-scenes stuff in the next couple months, but please, don't forget about us!  I promise, we'll keep you updated here on the site.  I have to apologize because my performance of the national anthem on January 18 was cancelled because I'll be out  of town doing promotional stuff.  Sorry! :)  You'll see me again soon!  Later!  That's it for me...I'm going to get some sleep now that it's one in the morning!  Goodnight everyone!
9.13.03: New Projects!
Hi everyone!  Sorry it's been a while - I've been working on a ton of stuff, and my schedule is keeping me away from the website, but I thought I'd make it a priority to drop by and post something this morning before I go off to rehearsal.  I'm not sure if you guys know, but I've signed on to play a part in the chorus of an off-Broadway production of the classic musical "Little Shop Of Horrors" and the really cool thing about this show is that it's opening ON Broadway the same time as our curtain opens off-Broadway - which is the first time this has ever happened, so it's really cool.  We're expecting a really big turnout for this show, and we've got a really talented production crew and cast, so it should be a really good show.  If there's anything that I'm excited about right now, though, it's my performance for Activities Night.  I'm headlining once again this year, and we're rehearsing for that pretty extensively.  I'm working with another choreographer (besides myself) because I want to bring something different to my performance this year.  This is my third year headlining, so I wanted it to be something really special. This should be my biggest performance EVER, and I promise it's going to be amazing!!!  I can't tell you everything we're doing, but I can hint at the fact that it's gonna be a little more than us just out there dancing.  :)  We've got some stuff planned, so it's gonna be AWESOME! - and I  would really appreciate everyone who could come out and support us at this show.  I have a lot of performances and appearances scheduled for the next upcoming months, so please, please, please stay posted to the site - they're workin' super-hard to keep you guys updated even when I can't. :)  I should have some more exclusive photos from some of my recent photoshoots up on the site in the next week or so, so look for those to be up, and I'll try to keep you guys updated on the shows and performances, but try to bear with me for a while, because my schedule is crazy.  I have the best fans in the world.
Thanks for everything - you guys rock!!!

Love Always,
CHRIS

8.10.03: Kelly Clarkson & Roxanne
Well, I've been telling everyone how excited I was that I was gonna see Kelly Clarkson live again in concert, and let me tell you, it was an AMAZING show to say the least.  I wanna say hey to Roxanne, and if you're reading this - it was a pleasure getting to meet you, and I wish you the best of luck in your career and recording your album!  You are gonna be a star, sweetheart!  Thanks for all your kind words, you're already a star in my eyes. :)  Okay, so things are gearing up for me right now - the website is almost finished, and I'm going to an undisclosed location next week to continue my choreography rehearsals - this time a little more extensively.  Oh, and hey to those who recognized me at the Kelly Clarkson show - that was very cool of you guys to come up and say hi.  I hope you guys enjoyed yourselves as much as I enjoyed it.  Thanks again to everyone for their continued support, and I hope y'all are ready to rock, because we're about to have the time of our lives!  Talk to ya soon!

CHRIS

Edit:. Roxanne, I heard some of the tracks that are gonna be on your album, and I love "Name Of The Flame", "Think About It", "Way I Am" and "Dancin'"..  I hope you're having fun recording and hopefully talk to you soon!
9.19.03: Radio, Celebrities, & Being Recognized
I guess it's safe to say that I've had a busy last couple of weeks, and it's going to get even busier now that I look at my schedule...lol.  The picture to the left is myself and two of my friends that came down to see me (and Hilary Duff...lol) when I had just finished a radio station appearance.  It was really cool being in the same studio as Hilary, who is becoming a bigger and bigger star everyday.  Her album, Metamorphosis, just debuted at number one, so I owe her a huge congratulations!!!
Things have been going really well for me lately - my commercial, The Right Choices.  Right Now. was just launched nationally, and from what I've been told, it's been very well received.  I've actually been sent stuff in the mail - press stuff and articles that I didn't even know I was in until I saw, so it's very cool.  They turned me into a cartoon and put it on bookmarks and t-shirts, so I'm tryin' to get ahold of those so I can show you guys how cool it is!!!  LOL!  So, yeah, that's really exciting, and then like I said, I'm gearing up for a performance on October 1 that should blow everyone away, hopefully!  I think it's one of the best things I've done so far, and I'm really excited about getting out and doing it live!
Now y'all can see why I'm excited!!!  I get to do some of the coolest stuff ever!  So, aside from all that, I'm working really closely with my high school right now and I've choreographed "You Can't Stop The Beat" from the Broadway musical Hairspray, which they'll be performing for their fall concert.  I've been teaching them that, so it's really cool, and I can't wait to see everyone out there performing what I worked so hard on.

Ah, while I'm thinkin' about it, I wanna go a big shoutout to Mysti, Doc, Brent, and everyone else down at Emmis Communications!  Thank you so much for your continued support and encouragement!

We're looking at some possibly venues for headlining performances for late November to January.  I know that's a really wide spread time range there, but I just wanted to let you know that we'll be confirming new performances for the coming months.  Also, I'm still workin' on gettin' some of my new pictures from one of my recent photoshoots up - some of them are already up - which you can check out in the
image gallery.  :)

One of the coolest things about being a performer is getting recognized, and it was really cool for me this week, because I was out one day before rehearsal and this guy, probably in his late 30's or early 40's comes up to me and was like "Hey - I just saw your commercial.  I just want to say that you're incredibly talented for such a young age, and you need to keep doing what you're doing."  So that was really cool for me to see that even people older than me are appreciating what I'm doing, but like I said, I just do it because I truly love performing and making people happy. :)

I think that's gonna be about it for now - I'm runnin' outta room, so I hope to see you guys at my shows, and of course, as always - stay posted to the site for all the latest stuff that's goin' on!  Later!

CHRIS
2.16.04: Short & Sweet
My first entry from 2004 - wow...here we go...

Things have been really cool for me recently, and there's a lot coming up for me too...to summarize my last two months, I've spent quite a bit of time on the road, traveling to competitions, performing, and just having fun.  I've been working really closely choreographing for a few clients, and there's a lot of really cool opportunities coming up for me - next week, I'm going to be doing some new publicity shots, and I've received some awards recently that I'm really happy to be able to say I've received.  I also signed on to do some modeling, so that''ll be fun to experience such a different side of entertainment than what I'm used to...in fact, I have a meeting with the producers of the fashion show I'll be in doing in April today, so that's cool.  Also in April, look for me to do some performing and I think I'll be going on tour again, which is something I'm really excited about, so there's definitely a lot of cool stuff coming up in the coming months!!!  Stay posted - we'll keep ya updated!  Keepin' it short and sweet, I'm out...

CHRIS

12.28.03: I'm Back!
I definitely realize that it's been over three months since I've last written, but I'm back just in time for the new year!  We've had some computer gliches, so I haven't had the opportunity to relay information about what I've been up to, but no sweat, we've got it all taken care of, and hopefully we'll get things goin' again!

I've been really busy lately performing, and auditioning for a few projects coming up for 2004.  From what I have on my plate right now, I'm really excited about a lot of the opportunities that are being presented to be, and I can't wait to sink my teeth into them.

Back in October, I did my first headlining performance with pyrotechnics...we had twelve fireworks for my show, and the crowd loved it..so that was something I was really excited about.  I was a little nervous, it being my first big show with pyro and all, but it went rather nicely.  Our crew did a very nice job keeping everyone safe, and making sure we were far enough away from them so we didn't blow up...lol  Since then, I've been performing all over the place, and everyone has still been SUPER supportive.  I have the greatest friends and fans in the world!  You guys rock!

Right now, though, I'm choreographing songs like crazy - some for myself, and some for other performers.  I have an awesome group of people that I'm choreographing for, and I'm really excited about seeing them all perform.  We'll keep you updated on where you can catch them performing in early 2004 - keep locked and loaded to the site for all the latest details.

I should have some new images for the gallery coming soon, and expect full site updates from my incredible, hard-working, amazing staff!  I'll see you guys in 2004!

Love,
CHRIS
5.24.04: Changes
It's official...I love New York City.  That's all there is to it.  I recently had the chance to spend a few days there, and I have to say, it's the most amazing city in the world.  There's so much culture and diversity.  It's a really cool thing, and I can't wait until I get to go back.  So...

My life has completely changed over the last few months, and it's continuing to change as I speak.

I signed my first management deal with Helen Wells, and there are a whole bunch of really cool people working with me to get my name and face out there.

I just did my first press photoshoot with them a couple weeks ago, I've done a lot of traveling...like I said, I just got back from New York recently, and I've had the chance to spend some time in Chicago and Indianapolis too, so I've been having a blast with that.  I've also been doing quite a few live shows here and there lately, so I hope you guys are getting a chance to come out and see those!  I hope you liked it!  Next up for me...I'm taking a look at quite a few offers that have been offered to me, and see where I end up!.

I've got to meet some really cool people lately - Sherrie Austin and Alexandra Bachelier (from
American Idol and Popstars fame) are just a couple.  They were both really cool, and Alexandra's shopping some deals right now, so you should expect to be seeing a lot more from her soon - she's workin' on her album, so look for that coming out sometime soon!

Next week, I graduate from high school.  I can't believe it's finally happening.  It's so bittersweet.  Completely surreal.  I've already started taking some college courses through correspondance online so that I can completely focus on my career, and see where that takes me.

I guess I just want to thank everyone for their continued support over the last few years.  I'm having a blast, and you learn that you just have to take things a day at a time and live it to the fullest.  Follow your dreams, because they will come true.  It's just a bumpy ride along the way.  Once it all smoothes out though, you can sit down and be thankful for everything you have, and that's where I am right now.

Check out the
image gallery to check out some of the new press photos...I had a blast because I did that whole shoot in a junkyard!  And one last thing...there's a new messageboard up, so swing by and post somethin' - I'll be on there from time to time in the coming weeks.  :)  I'm out, see you guys soon!

For now,
7.12.04: Summer!!!
So it's been a couple months since I've posted on here and I was feelin' like it was about time to write it all out again...hahhaha...

Well, I recently got to hang out with Greg Raposo (
www.gregraposo.com) and The Beu Sisters (www.thebeusisters.com), at Radio Disney's first birthday bash!  For those of you who've been living under a rock, the Beu Sisters opened up for Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken on their "Independent Tour" earlier this year and Greg Raposo (formerly of boy-band Dream Street) has a solo album out and a new single called "Take Me Back Home" which is picking up spins on radio around the U.S.!  But yeah, they were both awesome, although I got to hang out with the Beu Sisters a little bit more, it was definitely a good time!

Right now, however, I'm getting ready for a couple of upcoming performances that I've got goin' on.  First of all, I'm performing in a talent show at the Delaware County Fairgrounds, so that's kind of a cool thing that I'm pretty pumped about...and then a couple weeks after that, I'm actually gonna be doing a full length mini-concert at the Escapades' End-of-Summer Bash (You can find more info about both of these shows by
clicking here!), and that's something that's just way different for me.  Usually, I'm onstage for 4 minutes at a time, here and there, performing one song, but now I'm getting to do a whole set, which is one of the biggest challenges that I've had recently - both physically and mentally, but you know what?  I'm excited, and with everyone's help, both of these shows will be awesome!!!

I haven't had much time off at all this summer, actually.  I've been busy doing promotional stuff and getting ready for August and September - you'll see a lot of me during those months, I promise...lol.  I'm working with some people and we're getting together a street team, so you guys can help us promote shows and stuff that I'm doing, which is just really cool, and I've got quite a bit coming up, which I'm keeping under wraps for now, but I promise, there's just a ton in store in the upcoming months.
Something that is kinda funny though - I'm actually already starting to look at some stuff for a show I'm looking into doing  this Christmas, and it's ONLY July!!

So, cool, yeah, that's what's goin' on with me right now...I can't wait to see everybody at my upcoming shows - spread the word - I wanna see as many people as we can get there!  That's gonna do it for me, but I'll talk to ya soon!  Ciao!

Keep smilin', keep rockin',

CHRIS

8.13.04: End-of-Summer Bash
For the last month and a half, I've been working like crazy!  I did a show at the Delaware County Fair a couple weeks ago, and that was awesome...I had a blast performing there, so thanks to those who came out and saw the show!

Speaking of performing - tomorrow I'm going to be doing my first full length headlining spot ever!  I'm so pumped - tonight is dress rehearsal, and everything about it is just awesome.  Not only am I performing, but I also produced the whole show, which is something that I'm so proud of!!!  This was my first real shot at producing, and I'm really excited to get out there and
show you guys everything that we've been working so hard on.

I've been rehearsing anywhere between two and six hours a day with three new dancers - Kara, Courtney, and Heather - who are just amazing...and they'll be making their debut with me tomorrow at the "Escapades End-of-Summer Bash".  These girls actually made appearances as dancers in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade last year, so they're definitely incredible performers and I'm so honored to be sharing the stage with them.  So if you have a chance, DEFINITELY come out and see the show!

I've got some more performances coming up - I think we're going to book some for early fall, but lately, my big focus, obviously, has been on tomorrow's show.  After that, I'm going to be taking a week off, doing some more promotion, and then it's back to work rehearsing for some more live shows!

Alright, so I'm gonna keep it short and sweet because I've gotta go get ready for our run through!  I can't wait to see you guys TOMORROW AT THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9.23.04: Cherie, Ryan, & Other Exciting News...
It's been a long time!  Man, you don't realize how time flies when you're havin' fun...and boy, am I havin' fun!

I recently had the chance to perform with Cherie, who is an up-and-coming pop superstar on Lava/Atlantic records!  She's SO talented, and just the fact that she asked me to perform with her for a couple stops of her mall tour was absolutely incredible.
So, everyone needs to go out and pick up a copy of her debut album,
Cherie, which is in stores now!  I also had the chance to open up for Ryan Cabrera when I was performing with Cherie, and I gotta tell you...Ryan is freakin' hilarious!...not to mention he's got some of the nicest fans I've ever met!

Here's a snapshot of Cherie and I backstage after one of her headlining performances!  This
girl is one of the nicest people
I've EVER met and I could go on and on about her, but I'm sure you
guys will soon find out for yourself what an amazing person -and- artist she is! :)

So, there's a lot comin' up for me in the next couple months!  Right now, it's looking like I'm going
to be choreographing for a new musical, as well as doing some choreography for shows in both
November and December, so I'll be busy with that...not to mention the fact that it's looking like I'm
going to back doing some shows on my own starting about the same time, so there's just a ton of
really cool opportunities that are comin' my way, and I say keep 'em comin'!!!!

I know there's been rumor and talk of a street team for a really long time now, but it's finally lookin' like things are falling into place and we should have one up and running within a month or so...details are still developing with that, so keep checkin' the site, and we'll keep updating you!

Alright, well, I think that's gonna wrap things up for me...as always, y'all rock!

And I'm out...

12.08.04: I'm back!
Oh my gosh, you guys...things are going so well!  First of all, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and didn't eat TOO much food...hehhehe.  I wasn't feeling too well, so I spent most of the day laying around, but I'm definitely feeling better.  Man, Christmas will be here quicker than we know it, and I still have some purchases to be making for a few people...lol.  I should prolly get on that...

So, I'm rounding out the year with a couple promotional shows, and I'm on TV a bunch this month...I dunno man, y'all aren't gonna be able to get away from me!  LOL!  Then, starting January 8th, I'm gonna be on the road for about a month, promoting, performing, and pretty much living out of a bus!  :)  I can't wait.  Waking up every day in a different city is crazy, but it's definitely a good time.  And I have my friends traveling with me, so it'll be awesome.
Ryan & I!
Got the chance to go to one of Ryan (Cabrera)'s shows recently and we got to talk a little bit before he went on, so it was really cool to chat with him for a bit again.  The guy is just phenomenally talented, and absolutely hilarious.  We're gonna get a couple more pics up in the photo gallery soon of me and Ryan...and I should have some new event pics, and new press photos soon, so look for those!

Okay, so I also wanna say thanks to everyone who came out to see the filming of "A Holiday to Remember"!!!  5,000 people is just incredible- we didn't expect that kind of turnout, so thank you so much for coming out and supporting myself and the other acts!  I do know that it's airing Christmas day, so turn it on, and we'll celebrate Christmas together!  LOL.
Once again, it's 3 in the morning, so I'm gonna jet on outta here and get some sleep!  I have tomorrow off, so I get to sleeeeeeeeeeep in!  Yeah!!!  Alright y'all, I love ya!  Night!
.
04.20.05: Lots to say...(music videos, Kelly Clarkson, & more!!!!)
I feel like I have to re-introduce myself to you guys it's been so long!  I can't believe it's April, it's been over four months since I wrote last, and it's my first entry of 2005.

A lot has happened in 2005...we bought a new house, so I've pretty much been living out of boxes and bags so far this year.  Now if MTV would only ask me to do an episode of
Cribs, I could show y'all around.  A big downside though is that we haven't moved the hot tub over here yet...I think I got way too attached before we moved.

As many of you know, 2005 also brought the start to my first official street team.  We've completely re-done things and I decided to bring on my friend Angie, who's gonna be running things around there for me!  If you haven't already, be sure to sign up...if anything just to talk to her!  She's a cool little lady, and there's a ton of sweet stuff goin' on over there - I've been droppin' by myself - so definitely, definitely, check it out!  (And you get free stuff just for joining, so cash in on THAT!!!)

I also recently had the chance to choreograph for my first music video, which was just an awesome experience, not to mention the fact that I got to work with a Grammy winner!  The guy's name is Red Grammer, and the producers actually liked me enough to ask me back to work on the video for his second single, "We're Rich" (both songs are gonna be used in an upcoming press campaign for Garfield!!!), so as you can imagine, I'm psyched about that!  The video for "We're Rich" is scheduled to shoot sometime in May, and they're still working on the treatment for it, so I can't wait to see what's in store with all that.

Lately, I've had the chance to hang out and meet some REALLY cool people.  There are so many talented people in this business, it's insane.  I ended up getting free tickets to see another of Ryan's shows (shoutout to my buddy Josh Drew...y'all put on one awesome show, by the way), and I got to hang out with him for a little bit, as well as meet Ryan's opener, Bonnie (McKee), who was just really cool.  She had something completely unique about her, and although they were both sick, Ryan and Bonnie put on a great set.  So that was cool.  Oh yeah, I forgot!!!...Ryan was shooting footage for his new video "40 Kinds of Sadness", so who knows...you may see me pop up in there. ;)

I'm 19 now, you guys...I feel so old!  It's crazy to think that some of you have been with me the past 5 years!!!

Not only that, but can you believe that it's almost been 3 years since Kelly Clarkson won the first
American Idol?  As many of you know, I've had nothing but mad love and support for the girl, and I finally got to meet her last week!
Hangin' with Kelly Clarkson after her show!
You can't really tell in the picture, but now that Kelly and I are both blonde now, my friends insisted that I went blonde because of her, but I just figured it was time for a change.  It's almost summer, so I figured "why not bleach it out?" And no, I'm not pulling a Ryan, either!  So ha!  But yeah, she's one of the most down-to-earth, genuine people that I've met to date.  She had as many compliments for me as I did for her, so it was definitely amazing to finally meet her!  I told her we'd have to tour together soon and she said she'd love that...so who knows?  LOL.  (A guy can dream, right?)  But yeah, she put on the best show I've ever seen to date, and yes, I realize I'm just sitting her rambling...hahaha...I figured I'd make this update worth your while.
Also pick up Rob Thomas' solo disc, Something to Be.  It's got some good stuff on there.  Definitely worth picking up.

Now that I've shamelessly plugged myself and every artist known to man, I think I'm gonna head outta here and get some rest, but I just thought I'd fill you guys in on what's been goin' down in the wide world of Chris.  Heh...wow, I'm so not cool.

We'll keep ya updated!  Y'all are incredible!  Thanks for everything! :)
04.29.05: Another update!
What's goin' down guys?  I'm back, just thought I'd drop in again since I had some downtime...

I actually just got back in town...I got the chance to hang with a couple of the
American Idol finalists this morning and they were filming a small little thing for FOX News, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for that - I'm not sure when that's airing, but I'll be popping up on there as well.  :)  I think they're tryin' to get some pictures up.

Later today we're auditioning dancers for the Red Grammer video, so I guess I'm gonna go in there and teach the performers some of the choreography, and help in the casting process, so that'll be cool.  We're shooting in a week or so, so I'm really excited about that.

Just saying hi...see ya soon!
.
05.26.05: Show tonight!!!
What's up everybody!?  Well, I'm happy to say that things have been going really well lately.  I just wrapped the new Red Grammer video, and you can look for that to premiere coming up this fall!  Of course, we'll have all the info here on the site, so no worries there.  I had a blast on that shoot, and even ended up laying down some background vocals for the track!  I was messin' around, singing on the set, and the producers liked it so much, they got me into the recording studio later that day, and so I'm signing background on the track!   So I can now say I've been in the recording studio and sang with a Grammy-winner.  You have no idea how cool that is to me!  So yeah, I can't wait for that to come out so y'all can see it!

I hope everybody's plannin' on comin' to my show tonight!  I'm actually performing 5 songs, and it's probably my favorite show I've done to date.  It's definitely the most challenging show I've ever done.  I'm dancing non-stop, flipping girls over my head, performing amazing music, and the set is phenomonal!  I'm really proud to say that I choreographed the entire show, helped backstage with lighting and production, AND will be performing.  Working on this show, I feel like I've really grown as a person and an artist, and I'm SO pumped to get out there tonight and do it LIVE!  It's gonna be unlike anything you've see me do before, so you should definitely come check it out!  And stick around afterwards 'cuz I'll wanna meet all of you after the show!

And be sure to check out Ryan's new video for "40 Kinds of Sadness" and vote for it on TrL!  You may have to look hard to spot me, but I'm in there!

Well guys, I'm headed off to a costume fitting and then rehearsals and sound check for tonight's show!  I can't wait to meet all of you tonight, and to those who couldn't make it...we'll get ya next time!  Later!
