An old and respected resident of the Gilgandra and Dubbo districts, in the person of Elizabeth Cafe, died at Mudgee on Sunday. The deceased lady, who until recently resided at Bishop Street, Dubbo, leaves a grown up family to mourn her loss, all of whom reside in the Mudgee district.
The body was brought to Dubbo by this morning's mail train, and laid to rest beside that of her late husband, John Cafe (who predeceased her some three years) in the Church of England portion of the local cemetery, Rev. C.W.Leavers read the burial service, and Mr E Carrett carried out the funeral arrangements at the Dubbo end. |
