| I guess this is only for the ultra curious (or is it nosy?) people out there. Anyway, check this part of the site to see what I've been adding over the course of time: new sections, new links, general improvements, etc. - - o - O - o - - November 11, 2003 - Changes looming on the horizon * * Never all too happy about anything -honestly!- I've decided to give my pages a new look. Yes, yes, I know I was just finishing the old one but, heck! it's taken me so long that I am already bored with it. Hopefully this will be the one. - - O - - October 24, 2003 - Growing presence on the net... * * pictureyourself.org has posted two pictures of your-truly. They are here and here. Other than that, Jane's Addiction new album rocks! whereas internet connection here at the UV sucks! - - O - - October 9, 2003 - Now participating with.... * * I've joined a webring. This makes my page accesible to an even larger number of people with like-minded interests. Boy! It sure sounds exciting. * * My ego has gone up a few notches. A picture of myself is now appearing in the mirrorproject.com - - O - - October 4, 2003 - New page added... and some more seriuos stuff * * I may get in trouble for this but I've uploaded some of my favorite Garfield strips. You can go, take a look and have a good, healthy laugh. * * Four or five more texts for my students to read and comment * * Also, a link to a list (work in progress) of all the CDs I own. The list says 142 but I own more than 300. - - O - - September 27, 2003 - New weblog! * * I could never write in the other one I had. So, if you want to read some of my ramblings about anything and everything just follow this link. Sufficiently warned. - - O - - September 23, 2003 - Four months without writing down here! * * I guess you people out there don't really want to hear what's kept me from updating the updates page... Sufficient to say I've finally got my act together and the text archive with reading texts for my EFL students is finally up. - - O - - May 23, 2003 - Guess who's going to be a father again!! * * Yes! Yours truly will be a proud father some time early next year! My wife and I just got the good news yesterday when she had an ultrasoud scan. We even learnt that his/her heart is already beating at 139 bpm. Isn't that...?! Well, I'm out of words. But really, really very happy. - - O - - April 10, 2003 - Been VERY busy!! * * With the start up of the war against Iraq and the peace movement I have had devoted all my energies to this effort. You can see the result of that here. - - O - - November 29, 2002 - Ready for the holidays! * * 1000 visitors mark broken this week! Sure would like to know who it was... Maybe you? * * Gave a "cheesy" look to my front page... dunno... Christmas is coming... Will have to take advantage of the two week vacation to write new info and format some existing files here and there.... This "Coldplay" album I just bought sure sounds nice -not what I expected but nice.... - - O - - November 15 - Ultimated "updater" added! * * Over the last couple of weeks I've been adding some more pics here and there -the most dramatic additions in the Jesus Christ gallery I hope that betwen today and tomorrow I'll be able to upload a couple of texts for my students to exercise their reading comprehension skills * * I've finally decide to create a weblog and link to it -just starting to write so don't expect anything but my usual ramblings. - - O - - October 24 - More fractals! * * Uploaded more images to my fractal gallery and also reorganized the article from O.E. Wilson about environmetalism. - - O - - October 18 - Back to life and to work! * * I have just spent one of the most horrible weeks in my life. Well, actually, it was the week before this -I spent three days hospitalized because of a medicine overdose. Now, don't get me wrong: i did not try to commit suicide or anything, a "professional" doctor prescribed me an overdose! So much for the Mexican public health system.... * * Now, on actual news about this page: I uploaded several new images to my fractal gallery and a couple more of my son. OK, go see them! - - O - - October 4 - Big update in the "Interests" section * * Added two more pages about "Fractals" including a gallery of my own and several links about them. * * Also, some work over the "Archives" section - - O - - September 26 - HTML editing catastrophe! * * I just don't know what went wrong but after trying to edit my index page with the Yahoo meta generator something happened and totally screwed the page. (sigh) Back to editing again using the PageBuilder.... - - O - - September 20 - Make over continues * * Trying to standarize the pages' look and feel. - - O - - September 12 - Big make over starts * * Changed the overall look of my site's front page * * Tried to improve the accesability to my pages. I think it's easier to reach out and find specific topics now that I've deleted some extra and (so it seemed) unnecessary steps (such as the "Interests" sub-page). - - O - - August 30 - Gee! This is supposed to be the "updates" section of my site and I've neglected it for almost two months! * * Changed a bit the "music" and "movies" boxes from "My interests" section in order to reflect a little more what I do from day to day, * * Started working on a new section (en Espa�ol) dedicated to the PS game "Silent Hill". Now I'm really excited about it 'cause I really want it to stand out in that area. - - O - - July 6 - Been wondering when vacation would ever start... * * Updated a few links here and there, * * Changed some background colors, * * Added three more pictures to the family album. Do I love my son? You bet! - - O - - July 3 - Seems like I brought "a bit" of western weather from my last trip to Guadalajara. I'm still celebrating my 32nd birthday in the middle of a rain of biblical proportions! * * Added a new page with photos of my wife and I from the day that "it all began" and from our wedding too. - - O - - June 22 - A little background history always seems to be a good idea. So with that in mind, today I've: * * Added this very page and... * * Uploaded a couple more pictures to my Jesus Christ gallery. |
