Actually, what I have here is the lyrics to some of my favorite Met-songs and how I relate to them. If you want to comment on any of my "appreciations" just send me an email, OK? (The lyrics are in an album release order)
From the 'Kill'em all' album, Seek and destroy is a simple song about being a teenager and trying to start up a fight just for the heck of it. Silly, but it sure sounds great in concerts.

The 'Ride the lightning' album shows a more artistic approach to song writing. For whom the bell tolls is a clear example of this. The lyrics are based on the same titled Ernest Hemmingway novel, "For Whom The Bell Tolls" which is about an American who is given the job of taking out a bridge held by the Fasist army in the Spanish Civil War - the precurser to the World War II.
