Comments: Hi, Maybe you can help me . Last week my alternator went bad on our 87 Crx Si . I replaced it and went to start the car . It would not start . I ended up running the battery down . I charged the battery and tried agian . this time it smelled as if I flooded the engine .I have fuel injection .after several tries the car still won't start. Then out of frustration I went thrue the spark plugs checked the timeing ,valves and the distributer . charged the battery. To start the car .I only turned the key to the on position . the fuel pump engaged and would not stopp . I pulled the spark plugs and gas came out of the cylenders only # 1 and # 3 .
