Before you can decide which CO2 pistol is for you, you will have to look through the various factors concerning these guns. Use my step by step guide to see what gun you should be considering:
1) What price - Choose a budget limit fo your gun. You should also take into consideration equipment (gas, pellets, holsters, sights etc.). Keep to your budget, as if you get hooked on CO2 shooting (which you probably will), then you can always sell and upgrade your pistol for another one later.
2) What use - This ties in with 'What Price', as they should both be considered together. For example if you only want to do a very small amount of shooting, then you should spend only a small amount of money on the pistol, and buy a more expensive one only when you start shooting more often.
3) What size - For those with larger/smaller hands, then the grips on some pistols may be too small/large for them, always make sure that the pistol fits well, as this can massively change how acurately you end up shooting. Some pistols may also be too heavy for prolonged use or too light for good accuracy.
4) What else - Always try to see or even use the pistol before you buy at a shop or club, as only first hand experience will allow you to make the right decision.
If you still can't make up your mind, then go through this list again until you do.
I have listed below some suggestions for what gun you should buy in which situation. Don't forget, air pistols can be great fun for all ages. |
