| James Bond had a PPk, should you? Undoubtedly the main positive point with this particular CO2 pistol is its usage by a certain British secret agent, but is it any good? Upon first inspection it seems well made and with a nice weight, but the fiirst giveaway of it not being the real PPK is the rather large screw protruding from the bottom. In other guns the screw folds away, is concealed inside the grip, or in the case of the Makarov CO2 pistol is cleverly disguised as a hanging point just like the real pistol. This pistol is still the only CO2 pistol to have 'blow back'. The topslide shutters back and forth just like the real thing adding a sense of realism along with some light recoil, but a lot of gas is used to do so thus only 60 fairly low powered shots can be used from a capsule. In conclusion this is a pistol for a younger child who cannot be relied on with a more powerful pistol or a complete Bond fanatic. |
