Summary: Didn�t you ever wonder why Davy plays the tambourine or how he got to play that instrument, this here story explains all! Rating: G 3 young men stand in a hot and humid house with the door wide open, playing music. The tallest of the 3 stands playing groovy riffs on a guitar while the shorter blonde stands plucking a bass guitar, all along a 3rd young man sits behind a drum set singing and beating his 7 piece drum set. He sings.... �...Take the last train to Clarksville, I�ll meet you at the station....� �Stop, stop, hold it Mick, something is missing, but I can�t for the life of me figure out what is missing.� The taller and obviously the leader said. �Mike, I think I might know what is missing.� The blonde interjected Mike sighed heavily, �What Pete, what is it that is missing?� No one ever really took Peter seriously but they listened anyway, just out of respect. �I think that we need is a tambourine in the background!� Peter says picking up and holding out the tambourine �Pete that's a dumb idea!� and takes the tambourine and throws it out the open door. �Come on guys lets go again, maybe the missing link will come to me when we play� ~~~Moments before outside the pad~~~ A short young Englishman is storming around outside. �Fine! If those blokes don�t want me, I will find someone that does! There is millions of other bands I can be in! Who cares about that one!� When suddenly something falls from the sky and smacks the short one on the head. �Owww! What the �ell was that?� He picks it up, and shakes it. �A tambourine, but where did it come from?� He suddenly hears music from a house near by and shakes the tambourine repeatedly and in time with the music and walks towards the house. ~~~In the pad~~~ �That�s it guys, sounding good...HOLD IT!� The music stops abruptly But the Englishman continues and even does a tambourine solo. When he finishes everyone claps and tells him he was great, which he was. �Where did you learn to play like that?� Everybody asked. �Well I just started shaking and got into your song.� �Fellas! I found the missing link in our song & band!� Mike annouced �Would you like to be in our band and play tambourine?� �I would love to but, I don�t even know your names!!!!� *~The End~* |
