Nailse Utd 5-4 Banwell Jnrs
Referee: Cliff Webber

Nailsea win the toss and opt to have the kick off. The early parts of the game were controlled by Nailsea but failed to turn the posession into goals until SAMMO (dan sampson) struck home a skorcher which took a nasty deflection of the opposing team to give the blues a 1-0 lead. Nailsea continued to push forward and again scored when number 9 HUNTER (chris hunt) put a way his cleanly hit shot. But just before half time pulled a goal back to make the half time score 2-1 in favour of Nailsea. From the kick-off Banwell chose to take a shot which Richardson deflected and if it wasnt for the cat reflexes of Tasheen Al-Zamily Nailsea would of been on level terms. However Nailsea scored an own goal from that corner to make the score 2-2. Once again Nailsea piled on the pressure which paid off when Thomas Bourne headed from close range after a brilliant Si Ling corner. At this point Banwell never looked like getting back into the game. The game turned frantic and Boystrous when a crunching tackle from SAMMO cause number 69 Chris Holland to cry like a baby and tell referee Cliff Webber "Get of the pitch ref!" Cliff replied by saying "Do you want an early bath son? If not, Shut it!" Nailsea scored again with Chris Brady placing it through the Banwell goalkeepers leg after a goal mouth scramble. The game now looked over at 4-2 but two shots from the half way line went in after some disappointing goal keeping from Al-Zamily. Nailsea were now angry at losing the two goal lead adn it showed when HUNTER was booked for a bad challenge. United brought on some fresh legs, Ted Lamb being replaced by Rob Sailsbury who earlier picked up a head injury caused by the high boot of Sich Salam. It turned out to be a good move because ROBBIE (rob sailsbury) scored a dinky lob minutes later. Nailsea now jus sat back and soaked up the pressure. The final score 5-4 to Nailsea Utd. At the end of the match manager Barry Sampson went to shake hand with number 69 Chris Holland who refused. Barry shouts "Learn to play football son!"
