___

This is the beginning of medieval times, starting with the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476 and running up to the traditional beginning of the Islamic Era in 622. The major military/historical events of this time were the uniting and expansion of the Frankish Kingdom by Clovis, the Ostrogoth invasion of Italy led by Theodoric, the Anglo-Saxons taking more and more of Britain, and the Wars of Justinian. The two most famous generals of this era were both Byzantines: Belisarius and Narses. The historical King Arthur is also from this time. For the battles of Clovis and Theodoric, I kinda made up the details because there wasn't much in the way of orders of battle and army arrangement maps available - documentation was best for the Wars of Justinian. Daras, Taginae and Casilinum are the only battles I had maps for. As you can see from the authorship of this section I was the only person who did battles for this era; I just started at 476 and went ALL the way through.
