Windows ME, sorted out.
Many people are using Windows ME, while it is true that Windows ME is maybe the worse operating system ever launched onto the buying public, and while it is true that its full of bugs and problems, and its true that Microsoft pulled the product from its product line about as fast as a fisherman dumps seaweed from his line; Windows ME can be quite usable in most applications, providing a little work is done by the owner or someone with the owners approval. I have thought about writing an article about this, and then I found a really good one.

Have fun with your Windows ME, there are lots of 'fixes' for this lack-luster operating system, have fun playing with them.
On an after thought, most ME computers can be upgraded with just a little RAM to run Windows XP, and XP is about the best thing that Microsoft have ever done.
