| Gary Linnekar: Peter how do you feel about losing the tyne-wear derby? The fans must be really sad to lose the one match they wanted they really wanted to win out of the whole season. Peter Reid: Well the fans can feel sad if they want to but to be honest it was just another match. Gary Linnekar: I dont know how you can say that peter because I dont know what you saw but I saw a match of the season candidate. Peter Reid: Nonsense Gary!!! The Manchester United match was match of the season it had to be!!! Gary Linnekar: What you mean when Newcastle beat them 4-3. Peter Reid: No I mean when we got beat off them 4-1!! Now that was a good match the amount of chances we didnt have was marvellous! Gary Linnekar: Anyway...... How are things going for you at the moment Peter? Peter Reid: OH things have never been better for me because we got beat off Newcastle and more and more jokes are being made about me such as Peter Reid OBE(Out Before Eater) HAHAHAHA thats my personal favourite. I would like to take this opportunity to finally admit that i have a monkeys head!! Gary Linnekar: How do you feel about the result Peter? Peter Reid: Well I think it was a good one because it puts us one step closer to our dream of playing in the first division next season. Gary Linnekar: I thought that Patrick MBoma made a difference to the side when you brought him on. What do you think of him Peter? Peter Reid: Well im gonna tell you right here straight up that we'll be sending Patric MBoma back to Cameroon as soon as possible because he is not what were looking for. He's fast, good on the ball and is a brilliant crosser of the ball but he's not over 32 years old so he's not our kind of player. Gary Linnekar: Did you feel your side played well? Peter Reid: I felt that we played well against Newcastle which is not acceptable if we want to reach our Diveision one target for next season. I also feel if we can get into division one next season then we can progress from there and see if we can be lucky enough to reach division 2. But to conclude Newcastle were the better side and had a better crowd atmosphere and they deserved the win. I really hope that Newcastle can win the leaague this season because i like them more than Sunderland. HOOOOORRRRRRRRRAAAAAYYYYYY FOR THE TOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way that streaker was nice wasnt he Gary!!! |
