Hello again everyone! I'm sure you all maybe have noticed, but I have been having a lot of fun this week with the website. Thanks everyone for voting on Baby Butts. That was really fun for Tricia and I and it looks like the majority vote is going with a baby girl. It really does not matter to me, as long as the little bugger is healthy. I know that Tricia is going to be such a great mother, boy or girl, he/she is definitely lucky to be getting her for a Mom. Now we have a new poll out and we need your help picking out a name for the baby just in case by some slim chance we do have a boy. Tricia and I really like both of the names on the poll and would love to hear the opinions from our loved ones. So let us know what your thoughts are on this one too! Hopefully you all will check through all the other pages on the web site if you have not already. I have been adding new stuff like animations to kind of spruce things up on the site here. I've really kind of sandbagged on this thing for a while, but now I am really getting into beefing this baby up. I have registered a real domain site for the web site that I will be moving this to soon. It will be www.buttsfamily.com. A lot easier to remember, huh. Plus it will give me more opportunity to put more stuff on this site, since with a freebie like Geocities, I am kind of limited on space. Although this has been kind of nice, just the web address is kind of a pain. It is also getting really cheap to register your own domain. It only cost me $9 to register buttsfamily.com. A year ago it would have cost me $30 easy. I also have a hosting service that I found that is going to host my site for only $7 a month. So if you or anyone you know is interested in registering a domain or having one hosted, let me know and I will give them the information they need. I hope that everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend. I know that I am sure looking forward to a 3 day weekend. It's unfortunate though that many people lose sight of what Memorial Day is all about, a lot like what happens at Christmas time as well. Memorial Day is not just a day off of work, and a day to fly your flag and not know why you are flying it except to fit in with the rest of the neighborhood. This is a time to remember all the Americans that died for us to keep on enjoying the freedoms that so many of us take for granted, and I am as guilty of this as anyone at times. I'm sure we all do it. We forget the suffering that our ancestors went through during our history as a country, all the way from the American Revolution that gave us our freedom, all the way to the War on Terrorism that is still being fought at this very moment. The brave men and women who fought and died for our country, God Bless You!! Bare with me for a minute while I rant, it really pisses me off when "Americans" refuse to vote, learn their history and take the time to even know what the name of their President is. To say their vote does not count is bullshit, just a lazy cop-out. Pardon my French. But, this is how strongly I feel about this topic. I love my country and I try not to take my freedom for granted, I learn as much about our history as I can because I think it is important to know how you got what you have, what makes America the greatest country in the world. Every time I watch another episode of Band of Brothers on HBO or any movie like that, that accurately depicts what Americans went through during these terrible wars, makes me want to find a Veteran and shake their hand and tell them Thank You. Anyway, I will get off my soap box now, just needed to get that off my chest. Well, I better cut this off here. I will try to post more updates now that there is more to update on!
