Baltic-Sea:

Sund: The protection of the barrier is reenforced by boats of the 2.S.Flottille. The remaining boats of the Flottille conduct anti-sub opertations on the south-coast of Sweden.

In the Danziger Bucht minesweeping operation reports Gotenhafen down to 10m free of mines.

A He-60 recon plane had to crash land off the swedish coast and were rescued by swedish forces. Negotiations about internation of crew started.

Northsea:

Planed operation of 1.S.-Flottille against merchant ships has to be canceled because of bad weather.

 

A Polish destroyer arrives in Gibraltar.

 

U-Boote:

U53, U32 heading home.

U31, U35 still operating in the Atlantic area.

U12 set sail for the english channel.

U7 sinks the steamer SS “Akenside” (2694t) , Blyth to Bergen southwest of Bergen by torpedofire.
