Seelage Ost

 

“Leipzig”, 2 destroyers and 2 T-boats complete the fake-barrier operation like planed.

 

The Mine-ships “Hansestadt Danzig” and “Kaiser” are transferred to O.d.Ost.

 

“Schleswig Holstein”, M3, M4, “Nautilus”, “Nettelbeck”, “Fuchs”, “Otto Braun”, “Pelika”, “Arkona”, “Sundewall”, “Drache”  support ground troops at Oxhöft, ammo depot at Oxhöft-Spitze, Ostrowgrund and aigainst enemy light battery at Hela.

17:30 Gdingen harbor and Oxhöfter Kämpe in german hands.

“Schlesien” and 3 boats of T.S.-Flottille are on their to the Danziger Bucht to provide artillery support at Hela. Konteradmiral Schmundt takes command over the area Danzig.

U-Boote:

U4 advancing into the area Sout-norway

U20, returning, position off Skudesnaesfjord replaced by U16

U23 returning, position off Firth of Forth replaced by U13

U12, U15 set sail for channel operations.

5 boats still operating in Atlantic area.

U30 arrived in Reykjavik to unload a wounded crewmember and leaves again at 12:15.

6 boats returning.

U18 waiting-position in Samsö-Belt.

 

Since the beginning of hostilities 28 ships returned from international waters, 44 are in Murmansk.
