Our Hobbies

Although quite shy, Chris has a character that draws others to him. He may not say much at times, but when he does, it is worth the wait! As an added bonus, he has a wonderful sense of humor and a very contagious laugh! Chris has a very strong integrity about him, and strong leadership in our family. People have said that even without speaking, he seems to make each person in the room feel important and liked. Chris's favorite hobby is fixing up Jeeps, golf carts, and various other things (anything with a motor, really). He loves to go "mudding" and riding in the woods with friends when he has time (which is not often lately!). Fishing and camping seem to be next on the list for fun.

Joy had love for horses and four wheelers. She used to ride regularly, but a couple of accidents between both loves have made that a bit less appetizing for her. She is now teased as being "Safety Suzie" instead. She likes to sew and do other crafts that make our house quite homey and that make thoughtful gifts for others. Joy is involved in a women's Bible study that she really enjoys. Right now Joy is the Nursery Coordinator at our new church. She has also been involved with our local crisis pregnancy center. She likes cooking, cake decorating, and reading too.
