Who am I? Well, here is a brief bio for you: Name: Christian Aldridge Age: 29 Star Sign: Virgo -We are humble people who seek perfection in what we do and strive to help others. Isn't that noble. :-) Anyway, more and more I enjoy seeing what astrology says about me because it is often true. Click Here to Get Your Horoscope Home: Virginia Beach, Virginia , which is a suburb of Norfolk and the largest (population) city in Virginia. The area in which I live is called Hampton Roads. I worked at Rite Aid Pharmacy as a Store Manager, Eastern Virginia Medical School as a Grant Manager in the Department of Internal Medicine and at their AIDS Resource Center as an Administrative Assistant, Our Own Community Press as an Advertising Manager. I also worked previously at Starbucks, as a realtor for a while, and in many other different capacities on my journey to figuring out just what the heck it is I want to do. One of my current interests is the Foreign Service and I took their test back in April 2002 but didn't pass it. Education: I finished my bachelor's degree program at Averett University which is located in Danville, Virginia but has a satellite site in Virginia Beach. Prior to Averett, I also attended Old Dominion University and Tidewater Community College. I also went to Salem High School in Virginia Beach. Right not I am thinking of beginning a Master's program in IT at Capella University. Important People - Best Friend: My best friend is Antonio. He is an awesome guy who I met back in 1995, or was it '96, at a youth group meeting at the Unitarian Church of Norfolk. We have been nearly inseparable ever since. He is my alter ego and I wouldn't trade him for anything. . .'cept for maybe a million dollars or something! Relationships: I recently ended a long relationship (well, it was ended for me). I spent almost 8 years with a guy whom I loved a lot. Our relationship was definitely challenging at times but it was always worthwhile, educational, tender, caring, and a great all around experience. Unfortunately, our differences overcame our ability to work through issues and we split up. I never, ever knew what people went through when this stuff happens but now I do and it sucks big time. Hopefully I will be able to take with me the good things and continue to grow during my life journey. Family: Some of the family members wihout whom I would not be who and what I am today are my sister, Tiffany, my Uncle Pete, my Granny and my Grammy, my Uncle Mark, Aunt Kathy, Uncle Glen, Aunt Vivian, and my Mom and Dad. Friends: Part of a family are the friends who surround us. Friends shape us in so many different ways that without them, we would never learn and grow. There are some friends with whom we lose touch but we will never forget them. Some of my most special friends through the years have been, Meredith Tabangin, Jorge Sague, a civil service employee, Jason Schreiber, a mega-successful hairstylist in D.C., Vallen Vandross , the Starbuck's Diva, George Skena and Allen Anderson, doctor and architect. Each one has given me something to learn with and I have become a better person because of it. I suppose that's it. Enjoy getting to know me. |
