This page was inspired by Laurel Hamilton, the author of the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter Series. I started this page about two years ago when I first started reading the series and since then it has undergone a number of dramatic (and not-so-dramatic) changes in format and focus. It is only recently, however, that I have actually had the time to really work on it. Now just because I have the time, it doesn't mean that this will be an especially unique or creative page. I am, after all, a novice at this type of thing. But it will be distinct and I'll tell you why.
First of all, this page is not dedicated to Anita Blake herself but to the world she lives in. With the aid of my sister, Rosana (a.k.a. Zeta wolf), I have created new and hopefully interesting characters to interact with the characters of the Vampire Hunter world.
Secondly, the stories follow a very different tangent than Laurel's work. An alternate universe if you will. They follow the original storyline up until Narcissus in Chains but will not include the events of Cerulean Sins and it will not focus on Anita's love interests so much as her newfound psychic abilities.
Lastly, through the fanfic stories, I hope to recapture the witty, fun Anita that I enjoyed so much---the Anita that is in short supply of late.
