Romulus was born in the height of the Roman Empire's glory. He was born to privilege, his mother being wife to Imperator Caesar Maximinus Thrax from 235 A.D. to 238. After the emperor was murdered by his troops in Aquileia, Romulus and his mother escaped to the east and were taken in by Romulus' true father, Titus. Romulus became one of the kindred at the age of twenty-two. Still a young Master, though a powerful one, he and Titus left the country to explore Africa. There in 475, he bonded to himself servants that would have made his Master's choices look hasty and foolish. Instead of a non-magical human servant, he chose a beautiful, young necromancer who he renamed Demetria; in lieu of a low level werewolf, Romulus choseThaddeus---a fierce gladiator and Alpha Wereleopard. Through his human servant and his animal to call, Romulus gained an extraordinary amount of power---power that temporarily surpassed his father.
But his joy was short lived. In 476 A.D., Caesar Romulus Augustus abdicated the throne and the Roman Empire collapsed. After the fall, the three started showing their true colors. Romulus was devastated and took the fall of Rome personally. He became insecure, angry, and hot-tempered. Thaddeus fell into despair, lost and unable to adapt to the new world. Only Demetria escaped without trauma. She took it upon herself to care for the other two, though it became more out of habit than love. In August of 1975, Romulus was murdered by the Ulfric of the Presidio Clan, Thaddeus lapsed into a coma, and Demetria was finally free to go her own way.
No one in the triumvarate had ever been linked romantically, as Romulus felt the other two were below him and had not been a loving Master. For a while, Thaddeus and Demetria were close but it faded all too soon as the Necromancer began to tire of his tedious meloncholy.
