A prayer for peace

I pray that I can be a cause for peace,

and not a cause for war.

That my arrogance and presumption,

will trouble no one no more.

That my house can atone for it's crimes,

and learn the arts of peace.

That my house can learn understanding,

and cease preaching intolerance and hate.

That I can learn forgiveness,

and leave punishment to fate.

That I will kill my fear and anger,

and kill the desire to cause others pain.

That my swords can be beaten to plowshares,

and delivered next door again.

That no one follow me,

but learn to follow hisher own heart.

That freindship and understanding,

can hear make a fresh new start.

That I not be a false peacemaker,

making peace after starting a war.
