No more Wild Dogs

When Lions Roar

There will be no more wild dogs barking, when the lions roar.
Their bellies will split open, oh how sad for them so sore!
Poor little doggies, were just barking at the Lions,
thinking them caged, thinking them mere cats,
just one more of many a running battle, in their ancient spats!
when they realize their mistake, it will be far too late
A meal for the Lions, notch one for the giant cats.
If I were a doggie, I'd head for another door.
I'd rather tangle with little cats, than hear the lions roar.

Oh what a sound it is, full makes the belly tumble.
You can hear it for miles, it makes a mighty rumble.
When the Lion's roar, the earth shakes and buildings tumble.
When the Lions speak as one, others cannot even grumble.
When the Buddha talked of Lions, he used a mighty metaphor!
To make the voice of peace, such a menacing carnivore!
No hate in the Buddha's voice, no hunger, and  no fear!
When Lions roar as one, they burn as brightly as the sun!
When Lions gather together, they never need fear anyone!

When the Lions roar the earth so shakes, that it opens and it rends.

And out we come a mighty host, The Bodhissattvas of the Earth!
Springing from the earth of misery, transforming and making amends!

Teaching others by example, forming a host of mighty friends!
Standing tall at Gridhrakutra, walking around the Buddha three full times!

Walking on air around the Buddha, free of defilement's, freed of crimes!

And we made a vow my friends, to come together again in these evil times!

And now let that vow roar my friends, the mighty roar of the Buddha!

We are Bodhissattvas of the Earth, And we roar with the voice of the Law!
