Daimoku Tozo
- Outside as we began to chant;
- The clouds gathered overhead.
- And as we began to invoke Daimoku,
- The Hot winds began to blow
- We did our Gongyo with a Joyful Sound
- while outside, in the world of nature,
- the rain was falling down.
- The wind blew with the strength of our prayers
- and our Daimoku resounded to the heavens,
- While, protected from heavens fury,
- we were oblivious as
- lightning crashed in thunder,
- as a tympani to our prayers!
- And when the Daimoku was over,
- The Gongyo said and Done,
- as the sun sank into the horizon,
- The birds again sang their evening song.
- The air was fresh and pure.
- The Demons chased away.
