Our 1st Anniversary

We wanted to relive our honeymoon on a small scale this year. So we went with to Enchanted Rock with some good friends, stayed at a bed and breakfast in the area, and then did some biking the next day! We had such a great time!

The gang's all here!

The sun looked very interesting this day as there was this very visible ring around it. Chris captured it beautifully here.

A great shot of the rock! That was where we were heading next!

Exploring the rock and heading to another face of the rock!

Well, we made it!

Chris and I stayed at an AWESOME bed and breakfast called the Rose Hill Manor. You can check them out at http://www.rose-hill.com. We had a lovely dinner at The Nest Restaurant in Frederisckburg and then came back to the B&B and relaxed in the Sunrise sweet. Here are some of the pictures of the sunset and sunrise!

Here is the beginning of a lovely sunset. This was taking as we were leaving the B&B for dinner.

I woke up early this morning to capture this awesome sunrise. It just got prettier and prettier and the sun rose.

Here is the view from the front balcony as the sunrise crept across the sky.

Here is the veranda from our room. It was wonderful to site out there and admire the view.

Here is a picture of our room from the enclosed private sitting room!

This inn has a bar that is open in the evenings and has a chef that cooks up elegant cuisine on the weekends. This is where we enjoyed our gourmet breakfast each morning!

Here we are at the inn ready to start cycling!

Here I am coasting down a little hill.

This is a historic church built by the early German immigrants.

Here is Chris coasting down that same hill.

Chris and I decided to take a break and this lovely spot. Here I am with my bike.

Here is a shot of our lovely break spot!

Chris with his bike pauses to admire the view...

Here is another awesome view that we came across.

We werecycling through farms, so many times there were animals roaming. Here I cycle by some horses.

The one horse notices me and gives me a look to make sure I am not making trouble!
