SPACE FRIGATE

Exterior Docking Bay – Shoot the four targets to remove the force shield and scan the target behind it to activate the 6 targets on the second force shield.  Shoot those and head up the ramp to a DOOR.  Walk through this door to get to a second DOOR.

Airlock – Scan Target to activate DOOR.

Deck Alpha Access Hall – Walk through to DOOR.

Emergency evacuation area – Scan PARASITE (CREATURES-1) and enter DOOR.

Deck Alpha Umbilical Hall – Blast debris to DOOR and follow parasite to map room.  Scan HOLOGRAM before entering for (RESEARCH – 1).  Then exit through hole to DOOR.

Connection Elevator to Deck Beta – Scan target, go down in elevator, and enter DOOR.

Deck Beta Conduit Hall – Roll through to DOOR.

Biotech Research Area – Kill two pirates then enter DOOR.

Beta Deck Security Hall – Scan the TURRET (CREATURES-2), then kill it and enter DOOR.

Biohazard Containment – Scan the computers for PIRATE DATA – 1 – FALL OF ZEBES, Then kill turret on lower level and take elevator to upper level.  Kill 4 pirates and enter DOOR.

Beta Deck Transit Hall – Walk through to DOOR.

Cargo Freight Lift to Deck Gamma – Kill turret, scan target and enter elevator.  After the elevator lands, kill the pirate and scan the target.  Roll into morph ball and move onto target to open the door.

Reactor Core Entrance – Two turrets to kill, then scan target and roll morph ball onto slot to open door.  NOTE:  The other DOOR in this room leads to a SAVE STATION and RESEARCH-2.

Reactor Core – Scan and defeat PARASITE QUEEN (CREATURES-3).  Go out through the DOOR in front of Samus.

Deck Gamma Monitor Hall – Walk through to DOOR.

Connecting Elevator to Deck Beta – Scan the target to activate the elevator and then go up.  When the elevator reaches the top, scan the target to deactivate the turrets, and then enter the DOOR.

Biotech Research Area 1 – Watch the pirates finish off the Queen and after the explosion, run up the stairs and kill three more pirates.  After killing the third, a path will open.

Sub Ventilation Shaft Section A – Roll to DOOR.

Sub Ventilation Shaft Section B – Roll through (you will end up in the Cargo Freight Lift to Deck Gamma) and bomb the door.

Main Ventilation Shaft Section A – Roll to DOOR.

Main Ventilation Shaft Section B – Kill the two turrets and then roll to DOOR.

Main Ventilation Shaft Sections C, D – Roll to DOOR.

Main Ventilation Shaft Section E – Follow the piston to path on right to DOOR.

Main Ventilation Shaft Section F – Roll to DOOR.

Biotech Research Area 2 – After the cut-scene with Ridley, grapple across to DOOR.

Connection elevator to Deck Alpha – Scan the target to stop the turret.  Run down the corridor and scan a second target to activate the elevator.  At this point a cut-scene will happen with an explosion and Samus will get knocked into the elevator, losing all power-ups.  Take the elevator up to Deck Alpha Main Shaft and exit the DOOR.

Air Lock – Wait for the room to pressurize and then exit the DOOR.

Exterior Docking Hanger – Exit through the DOOR, and board your ship to chase Ridley to Tallon IV.

TALLON OVERWORLD A

Landing Site – Scan Gunship (RESEARCH-3) and enter DOOR to the right of Samus.

Canyon Cavern – Scan and kill two Beetles (CREATURES – 4) and head left to DOOR.

Tallon Canyon – Scan Sap Sac, Zoomer and Geemer (CREATURES 5, 6, and 7), kill two beetles and enter the DOOR at ground level.

Transport Tunnel A – Walk through to DOOR.

CHOZO RUINS A

Transport to Tallon Overworld North – Go through the DOOR.

Ruins Entrance – Kill the two beetles and look left to see (CHOZO LORE -1 – FOUNTAIN).  Scan this and then enter DOOR.

Main Plaza – Walk through and enter the DOOR on the ground level and the far left of the room.

Nursery Access – Scan SCARAB (CREATURES – 8) and then enter the DOOR.

Eyon Tunnel – Scan EYON (CREATURES – 9) and walk through to DOOR.

Ruined Nursery – Scan (CHOZO LORE– 2 – EXODUS), WAR WISP AND WAR WISP HIVE (CREATURES 10 AND 11).  Then enter the door to Samus right from when you entered the room.

North Atrium – Walk through to DOOR.

Ruined Gallery – Scan BLASTCAP AND TANGLE WEEDS (CREATURES 12 AND 13), and then enter DOOR at top of room, across from entrance door.

Totem Access – Scan PLASMITE (CREATURES – 14), and enter DOOR.

Hive Totem – Scan the HIVE MECCA AND RAM WAR WISPS (CREATURES 15 AND 16) and then defeat the Hive Mecca for (MISSILE – 1).  Next, scan the BLAST SHIELD DOOR (RESEARCH – 4) and then use a missile to open the DOOR.

Transport Access North – Pick up ENERGY TANK – 1 then break the boxes to find MISSILE AMMO.  Scan this as well as a SMALL ENERGY (blue, 10 units) and a LARGE ENERGY (pink, 20 units). (RESEARCH 5, 6, and 7).  Then head back to the Ruined Gallery.

Ruined Gallery – Break wall below where you enter the room for MISSILE – 2.  Then head back to the Main Plaza.  NOTE:  The map station for The Chozo Ruins is also in this room on the lowest floor, behind a blast shield door.

Main Plaza – Enter the DOOR by the first entrance you used.

Ruined Shrine Access – Walk through to DOOR.

Ruined Shrine – Kill the beetles in here to make the PLATED BEETLE (CREATURES – 17) appear.  Kill him to get the MORPH BALL.  Then return to the Main Plaza.

Main Plaza – Head to the far wall and jump around to the DOOR on the second level.

Ruined Fountain Access – Roll through to DOOR.

Ruined Fountain – Scan behind the found for CHOZO LORE – 3 – HATCHLING, and then enter the DOOR to the left of the room from the original entrance.

Arbortoreum Access – Scan SHRIEKBAT (C – 18) then walk to DOOR.

Arbortoreum – Scan REAPER VINE (C – 19) and then enter DOOR.

Gathering Hall Access – Walk to DOOR.

Gathering Hall – You can go either of two ways through here, and there is a save room behind a DOOR.

1.  Stay on the lower level of the Gathering Hall and go through the DOOR.

Watery Hall Access – Walk through and to the left of the two ramps in a breakable wall, fire a missile to get MISSILE – 3.  Then go forward to get to a DOOR.

Watery Hall – Scan the 4 runic symbols

  1. On the wall to the left of the entry door
  2. Under the Blast caps in the middle of the room
  3. Under the gate
  4. To the right of the gate

Then scan the gate so that it opens and scan the back wall for CHOZO LORE – 4 – METEOR STRIKE and pick up the CHARGE BEAM.  Return to the Gathering Hall for step 2.

2.  Climb up to the DOOR at the top of the room.

East Atrium and Energy Core Access – Walk through to DOOR.

Energy Core – Scan LOCKED DOOR (RESEARCH – 8) across the room.  Then head left and scan the STONE TOAD (CREATURES – 20) and enter the hole.

Burn Dome Access – Roll through to DOOR.

Burn Dome – Scan the INCINERATOR DRONE AND BARBED WAR WISPS (CREATURES 21 AND 22).  Then kill the drone for MORPH BALL BOMBS.  Roll into a ball and bomb the wall and the end of the stream and follow the path for MISSILE – 4, and head back to the Energy Core.

Energy Core – Roll into a ball and let the Stone Toad eat you.  Drop a bomb in his mouth to blow him up and head behind him.  Scan the MORPH BALL SLOT (RESEARCH – 9).  Bomb jump into the slot and drop a bomb to activate it and lower the water in the Energy Core.  Then run around to the other side of the room and repeat the bomb jump and use of the second slot.  This one raises three of the platforms.  Head across those platforms to get to slot number three and repeat.  This will raise the last two platforms and unlock the DOOR.

West Furnace Access – Roll to DOOR.

Furnace – Enter the hole and follow the path for ENERGY TANK 2.  Then return to the Arbortoreum.

Arbortoreum – Scan VENOM WEED (CREATURES – 23) and find 4 runic symbols

  1. On ground level under the venom weeds
  2. On the tree after the first bridge
  3. On the wall after the bombable blocks
  4. On the tree across from gate

Bomb the block behind the gate and roll through to DOOR.

Sunchamber Lobby and Sunchamber Access – Walk through to DOOR.

Sunchamber – Scan FLARGGHA AND FLARGGHA TENTICLE (CREATURES 24 AND 25).  Then kill by hitting the discs with missiles or charged shots until they are all out.  Then Flarggha will fall down and the tentacles subside.  Head down the path and enter the morph ball slot and drop a bomb.  Repeat 4 times and Flarggha will die, leaving behind the VARIA SUIT.  Enter the DOOR in front of Samus.

Sun Tower Access – Break the boxes for ULTRA ENERGY (yellow, 100 units) RESEARCH – 10 and scan PULSE BOMBU (CREATURES – 26) and enter DOOR.

Sun Tower – Fall down and scan CHOZO LORE – 5 – CONTAIN and exit through DOOR.

Transport to Magmoor Caverns North – Enter the DOOR on your left.

Vault Access – Use the piston to climb up to the hole and roll through to DOOR.

Vault – Scan on right wall for CHOZO LORE – 6 – BEGINNINGS and then use the bombs and the bomb jumps to open the locks and get MISSILE – 5.  Then go through the DOOR which you did not enter.

Plaza Access – Kill the beetles and walk through the DOOR.

Main Plaza – Get ENERGY TANK – 3, but do not fall down.  Instead head back to the elevator and enter the Magmoor Caverns.

MAGMOOR CAVERNS

Transport to Chozo Ruins North – Walk through the DOOR.

Burning Trail – Scan GRIZBY (CREATURES – 27) and then head through the DOOR.

Lake Tunnel – Scan BURROWER (CREATURES – 28) and then head through the DOOR.

Lava Lake – Scan MAGMOOR and PUFFER (CREATURES 29 and 30) and then jump across the platforms.  Next, break the boxes and then bomb the sandstone blocks to get to the other side.  Finally jump across the platforms to get to the DOOR.

Triclops Pit – Scan TRICLOPS (CREATURES – 31) and then head under the gate with the triclops.  Go out the DOOR and follow the path, fall down and turn 180 degrees and enter the cave.  Turn 180 degrees again and enter the pipe.  Follow the path under the gate to another cave and stand up.  Enter the door to the Storage Cavern and pick up MISSILE – 6.  Head back to the Triclops Pit and jump across the platforms to the far DOOR.

Monitor Tunnel – Jump across the platforms to DOOR.

Monitor Station – Go through the station and around the platforms to the DOOR on the second level.

Transport Tunnel A – Use the triple bomb jump on the first block to go up to the second level.  Repeat on the second level and on the third level to get ENERGY TANK – 4.  Then head through the tunnel to DOOR.

Phendrana Shorelines - Head left and use a missile to destroy the gate.  Next, scan the FLICKERBAT and the CRYSTALLITE (CREATURES – 32 and 33), as well as the target behind.  Now, climb up to the DOOR above.

Ice Ruins Access – Break the ice and scan the SCATTER BOMBU (CREATURES – 34), and roll to the DOOR.

Ice Ruins East – Scan BABY SHEEGOTH (CREATURES – 35), then jump to the top to the DOOR.

Plaza Walkway – Scan ICE BURROWER (CREATURES – 36) and then enter the DOOR.

Phendrana Shorelines – Walk to the left to find a DOOR.

Tallon Canyon – Use the half-pipe to go up the right wall.  Then cross the bridge and bomb the three sandstone walls.  Head through the DOOR.

Gully – Walk through to the DOOR.

Alcove – Walk straight and pick up the SPACE JUMP BOOTS.

Landing Site – Head behind your ship to a tunnel containing MISSILE – 7.

PHENDRANA DRIFTS

Phendrana Shorelines – Jump on the platforms as if you were going towards Ice Ruins East, but after killing the second crystallite, stand on his platform, turn around and jump on the floating platform.  Then make two more jumps across and enter the DOOR.

Temple Entryway – Break the ice and roll through the tunnels and enter the DOOR.

Chozo Ice Temple – Scan the ICE PARASITE (CREATURES – 38) and then jump on the platforms to the top.  Break the second statue on the right and use the bomb slot to open the gate.  Enter the DOOR behind the gate.

Chapel Tunnel – Break the towers and roll through to a DOOR.

Chapel of the Elders – Walk towards the WAVE BEAM, and after it disappears, 2 sheegoths will appear.  As you kill them, two more will appear.  After all 4 of them are dead, a SHEEGOTH (CREATURES – 39) will appear.  Scan and kill to get the WAVE BEAM.  Head back to Ice Ruins West.

Ice Ruins West – Jump into the destroyed building at the center of the room and scan CHOZO LORE – 8 CIPHER.  Kill the crystallites and jump to the top of the building.  Use a missile to knock the stalactite down and jump on that.  Kill the two crystallites to your left and scan the ICE SHRIEKBATS (CREATURES – 40) behind them.  Jump over to that platform and head right to find your first DOOR.

Courtyard Entryway – Walk through to a DOOR.

Ruined Courtyard – Scan and use the SPINNERS (RESEARCH – 12) and then use the bomb slot to raise the platforms.  Jump across and enter the hole for ENERGY TANK – 5.  Repeat the process, but instead of going towards the hole, go right and jump on top of the large column and enter the DOOR.

Specimen Storage – Kill the turret and then scan the SHADOW PIRATE (CREATURES – 41).  Then enter the DOOR.

Research Entrance – Enter very slowly and kill the turret before the cut-scene.  Then scan and kill the SPACE PIRATES (CREATURES – 42).  (NOTE:  The map station for Phendrana is through the door at the bottom of the room.)  Head through the DOOR at the top of the room.

Hydra Lab Entryway – Head through to find a DOOR.

Research Lab Hydra – Kill the pirates throughout the room and then fall back down and scan PIRATE DATA – 2, 3, and 4 (SECURITY BREACHES, MINING STATUS, AND PHAZON ANALYSIS).  Then climb to the top and scan PIRATE DATA – 5 and 6 (GLACIAL WASTES AND PARASITE LARVA).  Finally, enter the DOOR at the top of the room.

Observatory access – Head through to a DOOR.

Observatory – Kill the Space Pirates and then scan the target that appears as well as PIRATE DATA – 7 and 8 (PHAZON PROGRAM AND CONTACT).  Next use the morph ball slots and then the spinners to activate the hologram map.  Scan TALLON IV and ZEBES (RESEARCH 13 and 14).  Head to the top of the room and jump on the upper part of the map hologram for the SUPER MISSILE upgrade.  Finally, head into the DOOR at the top of the room.

West Tower Entrance – Head through to a DOOR.

West Tower – Elevator up to a DOOR.

Control Tower – Kill the space pirates and then FLYING PIRATES (CREATURES – 43) will come to die.  Head through the DOOR to the East Tower.

East Tower – Elevator down to a DOOR.

Aether Lab Entryway – Head through here to find a DOOR.

Research Lab Aether – Scan METROID (CREATRES – 44) and then it will break its’ cage and fight.  Kill him and the pirate that comes flying through.  Then scan PIRATE DATA – 9 and 10 (METROID STUDIES AND META-RIDLEY).  Then head through the window the pirate broke and scan PIRATE DATA – 11, 12, and 13 (PHAZON INFUSION, METROID MORPHOLOGY,METROID FORCES).  Use the narrow path above the main walkway to get MISSILE – 10.  At the bottom of the room, break the glass tank with a missile for ENERGY TANK – 6.  Then head through the DOOR.

Research Core Access – Scan ICE BEETLE (CREATURES – 45) and then walk to the end and enter the DOOR.

Research Core – Find the three computers with red scan points to release the energy locks on the case and pick up the THERMAL VISOR.  Head back to the top of this room and exit back into the Research Core Access.

Research Core Access – Scan the SENTRY DRONE (CREATURES – 46) and then head back to Research Lab Hydra.

Research Lab Hydra – Shoot the tube behind the Metroid to get MISSILE – 11 and then head back to the Ruined Courtyard.

Ruined Courtyard – Shoot the cordite spot with a super missile and then hit the conduit with the wave beam to activate the DOOR.

Quarantine Access – Head through to the end to find a DOOR.

North Quarantine Tunnel – Roll through to find a DOOR.

Quarantine Cave – Scan, fight, and kill THARDUS (CREATURES – 47) to get the SPIDER BALL.  Scan the SPIDER BALL TRACK (RESEARCH – 15) and head back out the way you came and head to CHOZO RUINS – RUINED NURSERY

Ruined Fountain – Enter the fountain in morph ball mode and use it to get to the Spider Ball track above.  Follow the track around to get MISSILE – 12.

Gathering Hall – Jump on the ledge above the door to the East Atrium and bomb the gate for MISSILE – 13.

Furnace – Use the Spider Ball track to go up on level two.  Boost ball across the disappearing blocks and use the bomb jump to get over and enter the actual furnace.

To the left is CHOZO LORE – 9 – CRADLE.  Enter the pipe below for the next room.

Crossway Access West – Roll through to a DOOR.

Crossway – Use the Half-pipe to get on the other side and scan CHOZO LORE – 10, 11, AND 12 – INFESTATION, WORM, and AND HATCHLING’S SHELL.  Then shoot the cordite statue and use the half-pipe to the spider ball track and use the morph ball slot.  Do this again on the new track that appears and then enter the elevator that comes down.  Take this elevator up and follow the path to MISSILE – 14.  Then enter the DOOR to the right of the statue.

Elder Hall Access – Enter the DOOR.

Hall of the Elders – Scan the CHOZO GHOST (CREATURES – 48) and then behind the statue, scan CHOZO LORE – 13 – HOPE.  Use the statue to get to the Spider Ball track and use the Morph Ball Slot.  Enter the hole on the second level for MISSILE RECHARGE STATION – RESEARCH 16.  Use the purple Morph Ball Slot and then the statue to get to the top level.  Scan the target to remove the force shield from the window.

Reflecting Pool Access – Enter the DOOR.

Reflecting Pool – Bomb the stopper at the bottom to release the water.  Then Half-pipe up to the top level (you will probably be swallowed by a Stone Toad, which is OK) and enter the DOOR to get the ICE BEAM.

Hall of the Elders – Use the white Morph Ball Slot and enter the statue for ENERGY TANK – 7.

Ruined Nursery – Break the boxes with bombs and follow the path for MISSILE – 15.

Ruined Gallery – Use the “U” shaped path at the bottom for MISSILE – 16.

PHAZON MINES

Transport Room and Quarry Access – Walk through the DOORS.

Main Quarry – Scan MEGA TURRET (CREATURES – 59), then head to the top of the room, killing the pirates on your way.  Next, use the thermal visor to find the conduit.  Then, scan the computer.  Then, use the Spider Ball track to get to MISSILE – 24.  Finally, fall to the bottom of the room and scan two targets to release the shield to the DOOR.

Security Access A – Head through to a DOOR.

Mine Security Station – Scan WAVE TROOPER (CREATURES – 60) then head through the DOOR.

Security Access B – Head through to a DOOR.

Elite Research – Scan PIRATE DATA – 14 (ELITE PIRATES), then scan the computer to raise the platforms.  On level 2, get behind the blue shields and scan the computer to raise the next set of platforms.  On level 3, scan the POWER TROOPER (CREATURES – 61) then use the spinner to line up the beam cannon away from you.  Then scan the computer to shoot the beam and reveal a DOOR.  Then, use the spinner to aim the cannon to the left of the screen and use the computer to shoot and reveal MISSILE – 25.  Then head through the door that was revealed before.

Research Access – Fall down and reach a DOOR.

Ore Processing – Line up the blue Spider Ball track and use it to get to level 2.  On level 2, line up the red Spider Ball track and climb that to a DOOR.

Elevator Access A – Fall down and reach a DOOR. 

Elevator A – Take the elevator down to a DOOR.

Elite Control Access – Shoot the Bomb box in front of you to kill the pirates and jump up to the platform to get MISSILE – 26.  Then head through the DOOR.

Elite Control – Scan ELITE PIRATE and ICE TROOPER (CREATURES 62 and 63).  Then scan PIRATE DATA – 15, 16, and 17 (HUNTER WEAPONS, METROID PRIME, AND THE HUNTER) on the ground level.  Then scan PIRATE DATA – 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 (PRIME BREACH, CHOZO GHOSTS, CHOZO STUDIES, CHOZO ARTIFACTS, and PRIME MUTATIONS) on the upper levels.  Then, head to the top for a computer to scan to remove the shield and enter the DOOR.

Ventilation Shaft – Jump down and enter the DOOR.

Omega Research – On the ground level scan PIRATE DATA – 23 (OMEGA PIRATE) and then enter the DOOR.

Dynamo Access – Head through the DOOR.

Central Dynamo – Kill the Unscannable Drone and head into the maze to get the POWER BOMBS.

Ventilation Shaft – Power Bomb the gate and head into the tunnel.  Then scan the target to activate the fan and open the path to ENERGY TANK – 11.

Ore Processing – Line up the yellow Spider Ball track so that it is away from you. Then line up the second level and finally the first and climb up the yellow track to get the GRAPPLE BEAM, from Storage Depot B.

Ore Processing – Scan the GRAPPLE POINT (RESEARCH – 17) and then use the point to cross to a DOOR.

TALLON OVERWORLD

Great Tree Hall – Head to the top and use the spinner to release the gate.  Jump up and use the Spider Ball track to a DOOR.

Life Grove Tunnel – Power Bomb the wall and roll into the circle.  Half-pipe up to the top and use a bomb to break the block and fall onto MISSILE – 27.  Then continue to roll through.

Life Grove – Get X-RAY VISOR.  Then kill the seedling and scan POWER BOMB (RESEARCH – 18) (ALL RESEARCH COMPLETE).  Then power bomb the wall and roll through to find a metal circle on the ground.  Bomb this and then use the spinner at the bottom.  Get Artifact – 2 – (Chozo 7th).  Climb to the top and find the hole under the statue to leave.

Great Tree Hall – Use the X-ray visor to find the hidden platform to a DOOR.

Great Tree Chamber – Get MISSILE – 28 and head back to the Frigate Crash Site.

Frigate Crash Site – Get MISSILE – 29 in the water.

MAGMOOR CAVERNS

Geothermal Core – Jump on the ledges and use the Grapple Beam to swing on to the platform.  Then use the spinner to raise it and jump to the next platform.  Repeat this process until you get to the top-most platform and use a bomb in the morph ball slot to raise the ceiling.  Then use the Spider Ball tracks to get to the DOOR.

Plasma Processing – Get the PLASMA BEAM.

PHENDRANA DRIFTS

Transport Access – Shoot the ice with the plasma beam and get ENERGY TANK – 12.

Phendrana’s Edge – Use the Grapple Beam to climb the platforms.  Power Bomb the rock wall for a DOOR.

Storage Cavern – Get Artifact – 3 (Spirit 11th).

Phendrana’s Edge – Use the glider to get across the room and enter the hole for Power Bomb Expansion 1.

Frost Cave – Use the glider to get to the top platform and shoot the stalactite.  Then enter the water for MISSILE – 30.

Gravity Chamber – Shoot the ice to reveal a grapple point and use the Grapple Beam to get MISSILE – 31.

Control Tower – Jump above the door and shoot the ice covering the window.  Head behind and shoot the fuel tank on the tower to knock it down.  Head into the hole that was created and get Artifact – 4 – (Elder 3rd).

Quarantine Cave – Use the Grapple Beam to get to a hole to the Quarantine Monitor for MISSILE – 32.

Ice Ruins West – Shoot the ice on the far tower and head down for Power Bomb Expansion 2.

Ice Ruins East – Use the Spider Ball track for MISSILE – 33.  Then head to the bottom level and shoot the ice for MISSILE – 34.

Phendrana Shorelines – On the wall next to the door to the elder hall, Super Missile the statue and scan the target behind.  Use the Spider Ball track to get MISSILE – 35.

Chozo Ice Temple – Climb to the top and shoot the ice in the statue’s hands.  Then enter the hole for Artifact – 5 – (Sun 9th).

Phendrana Shorelines – On the ground level by the save station, shoot the ice and pick up MISSILE – 36.  Say goodbye to Phendrana Drifts because you have everything you need from it.

MAGMOOR CAVERNS

Monitor Station – Head to the top of the station and use the spinner to activate the bridge.  Cross the bridge and follow the path to a DOOR.

Warrior Shrine – Pick up Artifact – 6 – (Strength 2nd).  Then Power Bomb the metal to fall into;

Fiery Shores – Pick up Power Bomb Expansion 3.

Shore Tunnel – Power Bomb on the middle of the bridge and head underneath to get the ICE SPREADER.

Triclops Pit – Head to the boxes and use the X-RAY VISOR to find hidden platforms.  Jump around and Super Missile the wall to get MISSILE – 37.  Say goodbye to Magmoor Caverns because it too is clear of all scans and items.

Sun Tower – Scan the 4 runic symbols and then use the Spider Ball track to head up.

Sunchamber – Kill the Chozo Ghosts that appear and get Artifact – 7 – (Wild 4th).

Furnace – Scan the PLATED PARASITE (CREATURES – 64) and then Power Bomb underneath the Spider Ball track and Half-pipe up to get on the track.  Use the tracks to get to MISSILE – 38.

Hall of Elders – Use the Red Morph Ball Slot to move the statue and reveal a DOOR.

Elder Chamber – Pick up Artifact – 8 – (World 10th).

Ruined Fountain – Head into the DOOR behind the fountain.

Meditation Fountain – Head through the DOOR.

Magma Pool – Grapple Across and Power Bomb the wall for Power Bomb Expansion 4 (all), and then scan CHOZO LORE – 14 – NEWBORN.  Then head through the DOOR.

Training Chamber Access – Right before the exit door are some leaves on the wall, roll through here to get MISSILE – 39.

Training Chamber – Kill the ghosts and then enter the hole on the right for a Spider Ball track to ENERGY TANK – 13.  Then use the left hole for the exit.

Main Plaza – Grapple Beam across to get to MISSILE – 40.

Ruined Shrine – Kill the ghosts and enter the hole at the bottom for MISSILE – 41.  Then use the Half-pipe to get up the right side for another hole to MISSILE – 42.  Finally, use the Half-pipe to get to the other side and a Spider Ball track to a DOOR.

Tower of Light Access – Walk through to a DOOR.

Tower of Light – Shoot the breakable blocks with a Super Missile and climb to the top to get the WAVE BUSTER.  Scan the OCULUS AND THE PLATED PUFFERS (CREATURES 65 and 66).  Then head into the water at the bottom for a door to Artifact – 9 – (Lifegiver 5th).  Say goodbye to your third region, the Chozo Ruins because it is now clear.

PHAZON MINES

Security Access A – Power Bomb the back wall for MISSILE – 45.

Mine Security Station – Bomb the wall by the exit door and scan the computer to release the shield on the DOOR.

Storage Depot A – Pick up FLAMETHROWER.

Elite Research – Power Bomb the tank and scan PHAZON ELITE (CREATURES – 67).  Killing him gives Artifact – 10 – (Warrior 6th).

Central Dynamo – Enter the DOOR.

Quarantine Access A – Enter the DOOR.

Metroid Quarantine A – Scan the computer to release the shield and free the Metroids.  Then use the X-Ray Visor to find hidden platforms and jump across.  When you get to the Spider Ball track, Power Bomb the wall to your left and then the next wall to reveal a different Spider Ball track.  Cross the second one and use the X-Ray Visor to find another hidden platform.  Use this one to get MISSILE – 46.  Then use the first Spider Ball track to go to a DOOR.

Elevator access B – Head through the DOOR.

Elevator – Enter the DOOR.

Fungal Hall Access – Roll under the mushrooms on the Phazon to get MISSILE – 47 and then head through the DOOR.

Fungal Hall A – Jump on the mushrooms and use the glider at the end to get to a DOOR.

Phazon Mining Tunnel – Power Bomb the wall and then roll through to a DOOR.

Fungal Hall B – Near the exit door, on the floor, is a hole that can be bombed for MISSILE – 48.  Then jump on the platforms and use the glider to get to a DOOR.

Metroid Quarantine B – Scan PLASMA TROOPER (CREATURES – 68) and then use the Spider Ball tracks to get to the platforms.  Jump across and use the Grapple Beam to get across the Phazon.  Scan the target to open the shield.  Scan PIRATE DATA – 24 (SPECIAL FORCES).  Then use a Super Missile on the tank to get MISSILE – 49.

Elite Quarters Access – Shoot the ice above the gate to open the gate and reveal a DOOR.

Elite Quarters – Scan the OMEGA PIRATE (CREATURES – 69) as you are walking towards him.  Killing him gives the PHAZON SUIT AND PHAZON BEAM.  Then, use the elevator in the room to get to a DOOR.

Processing Center Access – pick up ENERGY TANK – 14 (all).  Then, scan the target to open the gate.

Phazon Processing Center – Use the X-Ray Visor to find hidden platforms.  About 2/3 of the way up, there is a wall which you can use Power Bombs on to get MISSILE – 50 (all).

Phazon Mining Tunnel – Break the blocks on the Phazon to get to Artifact – 11 – (Newborn 12th).  Congratulations, the fourth area is cleared of everything.

Temple Security Station – Scan PIRATE DATA – 25 – (ARTIFACT SITE) (all).  Then, enter the DOOR.

Temple Lobby – Enter the DOOR.

Artifact Temple – Scan CHOZO LORE – 15 and 16 – (STATUARY and BINDING) (all).  Then enter the temple to find Artifact – 12 – (Truth 1st) and then META-RIDLEY (CREATURES – 70) appears.  Killing him activates the transport to the Impact Crater.

IMPACT CRATER

Crater Entry Point – Enter the DOOR.

Crater Tunnel A – Scan the LUMIGEK (CREATURES – 71) and then jump over and enter the DOOR.

Phazon Core – Scan the FISSION METROID (CREATURES – 72) and then jump up the platforms.  About half-way up, there is a DOOR to a missile recharge station.  Then head to the top to a DOOR.

Crater Tunnel B – Use the Spider Ball tracks to get to a DOOR.

Phazon Infusion Chamber – Samus Aran meet Metroid Prime; Metroid Prime, meet Samus Aran.

Jump down into the Sunchamber One – Scan METROID PRIME (CREATURES – 73).  Metroid Prime will go through one color change in this room.  Hit with charged shots of the weapon which Metroid Prime’s face is, or use your super weapons.  I only use the super missiles and the Ice Spreader to conserve missiles.

Sunchamber Two – Two color changes.

Sunchamber Three – Three color changes.

Sunchamber Four – Random changes.  After this level, Metroid Prime will “die” until you look down into the next room.

Metroid Prime Lair – Scan METROID PRIME (CREATURES – 74) (all).  This is Metroid Prime’s true form.  When you see Metroid Prime make a liquid Phazon pool, change visors to see find Metroid Prime and then stand in the pool, and hold your fire button down to use the HYPER BEAM.  Repeat as necessary until Metroid Prime is no more.
