"I Like These Calm Little Moments Before The Storm. It Reminds Me of Beethoven."

The quote from the other day was John Goodman in "The Big Lebowski." Them Coen brothers write some funny stuff.

I need to get new friends to add to the number I have already. The two real good ones I have I've known for years, and they can anticipate what I'm going to do before I even have a clue of what I'm going to do. However, I get feelings of what they're going to do and how they're going to react as well. That, my friends, is just a side effect of having known someone for so long.

Don't get me wrong. It's great knowing someone who knows you so well(at least, for me it is), but with people who can anticipate your moves, spontinaeity just goes right out the window. How can you do something wacky, or marvelous, or even romantic(or sexy), if someone around already has some idea of what you're going to do? Where's the fun?

But, some of us are just predictable like that. No matter what situation you're going through, you get some idea of what your friend is going to do or say; even if it's so doesn't match the feeling of the moment. It can throw you off, believe me.
