        1. HOW TO USE

When the first window ( DIFFICULTY ) pops up
adjust the scrollbar to suit your needs then click
O.k. or press the space bar. In the lower white box
you will now see a number of little lines. These
little lines represent letters that you have to
guess. Little lines slightly higher than the others
   represent spaces between words.
To make a guess press one of those funny little
buttons in front of you with letters on them. The
programme dosen't really care if the letters are
upper or lower case and if you find your self with
a lower or upper case letter on the
screen that you are not entirely happy with then
you can change it by re-selecting it in the form you
   prefer without suffering any penalty.
If you guess correctly then the appropriate letters
will be filled in and a tick icon will appear to the
right of the window. If your guess is incorrect then
a cross icon will appear to the right of the window and
your man will be one step closer to being hung. You may
still carry on guessing after your man has been hung.
Clicking NEXT at any time will move you on to your
next word. Clicking CLUE at any time will provide you
with a clue. You've already discovered HELP and the
EXIT button does just what you'd expect it to.

        2. REALLY USEFUL BIT

Pressing the space bar will push the highlighted
button ( The one with the darker border around it ).
Thanks to some brilliant programming this is usually
the right button at the right time and profesional
players will find this feature extremely useful.

        3. HOW TO CUSTOMIZE

This programme selects a word or phrase for you to
guess at random from a list of words in the file
"hangman.txt". To change the words available
to the programme you simply have to open up your
favourite word processor and create your own file
called "hangman.txt" and use it to replace the
original one. (renaming the original one first
will allow you to reuse it at a later date)

IMPORTANT - To create your own "hangman.txt"
you must put the first word or phrase on the first line
and it must begin in the first position on the
far left of that line. The second word or phrase must
begin in the first position on the far left of the
second line. The third word goes in the same place on
the third line etc.. Keep words short enough to fit
on screen ( About 14 letters and spaces ) or you may
end up with a particularly challenging version of the
game and risk getting an error message.
The file must then be saved as a TeXT file with
   the " .TXT " suffix.
This programme is designed to make extremely
efficient use of memory and you shouldn't have any
problems with a list of many thousands of words
but a limit will be reached eventually - and if you
get an "OUT OF MEMORY" or ""OUT OF RANGE" message
while trying to run this programme then you've
   probably reached that limit.

        4. ERROR MESSAGES

     There are only 3 possible causes of error messages;
        1. A word or phrase in "hangman.txt" is too long
        2. There are too many thousands of words in "hangman.txt"
        3. YOUR System
