About Chris:
I was born in Vietnam.  At a very young age, I was quiet and was very studious, mainly because I was lonely.  The condition in Vietnam at that time was very hard.  There was no electricity, no running water, no television... My entertainment was to look up at the sky to see clouds fly by  during the day and stars at night.  As I was looking at the sky, I was dreaming about the future and there were millions of questions about how things become the way they are.  In school, I bottled as many books that I could and end up the smartest kid in the village.  And by that, I have more friends.  As I reached middle school I have a lot of friends. They all came to talk to me.  I was very friendly and funny; they love to sit around during break time and listen to my stupid stories that I made up as I go along.  They all thought it was real, and we laughed and laughed our asses off. (For more stories, check out my Childhood page comming soon!)
....

Soon after that, my father came home and we came to the US.  It was like a dream because within 27 hours I was moving from a small village in a third world country to the number one country in the world.  Needless to say the language, everything is different!  The houses, the streets, the people...  My first impression was "Wow! Everybody looks so beautiful with blonde hair and blue eyes.  I  only saw such in books or magazines, but, this is real! I see them infront of me. They are real!
...
As time goes by, my impressions faded away and it faded away really really fast.  Now I see that most people are....fat and out of shape.  Only a small percentage of people look good, and most of these people join the gym and work out regularly.  They know what to eat and how to take care of their bodies.  I hear them all! They said, "We only live once. Why don't we enjoy what we can while we are here.  Let's eat pizzas, drink some more beers and sit watch television!"   Mean while, there is another group that say, "Why don't we make the best of what we can?  Let's join the gym and work out.  Let's eat right because there are so many things that can cause by the poor diet."  There is no right or wrong anwer here.  It's just how you see it and the most important thing is do what you like because you are living in a free country.  In my opinion, do things as you please and live happy whichever way you think it's right for you.  Somedays you will look back and say, "Yes! I did what I wanted to do and I am happy!"
