This web page is designed to
provide resources for students and teachers in animal classification. All
animals are grouped as vertebrates or invertebrates. After determining
whether an animal is an invertebrate or vertebrate, students can then group
the animals more specifically. Each specific group of animals has characteristics
and adaptations that make them unique. This site also contains links to
two WebQuests that provide engaging activities for students related to
animal classification.
