WALLACE CHEERS PATIENTS

Published: April 20 2004
Jamie Gray is cheered up by animated character Wallace, who visited young patients at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital.
Eight-year-old Jamie suffers from HSP, a condition causing his blood vessels to leak, and had not got out of bed for about five days until the human half of the man and dog film characters.
Fundraiser Bernie Hollywood was inside the giant costume, as he was for Sunday's London Marathon. He was raising money for the
Wallace and Gromit Children's Foundation, which supports paediatric hospitals.
The
Wallace and Gromit Children's Foundation is supporting the 15m Oxford Children's Hospital Campaign.
Fundraising events for the campaign can range from a sponsored head shave to bathing in baked beans.
If you plan to raise money for the Oxford Children's Hospital, be it 10p or 10,000, please let us know.
