| Wisconsin's only saving grace is the occasional outcrop of climbable sandstone. While most of these areas can hardly be called a secret, they are not very mainstream and most people don't know about them. While you are welcome to climb at these areas, large numbers of people are not. Even though some of this stone may be on public lands everyone is not welcome here. It is important to keep a low profile to minimize damage to fragile enviroments. These are very small areas and can not handle hordes of people. |
