The Chorus Urbanus joined the Diocesan Pilgrimage to San Gorg Preca's Shrine in Hamrun by animating the Pontifical Mass led by Bishop Mgr Mario Grech on the Eve of the liturgical Feast of San Gorg Preca, Malta's first Saint. The pilgrimage organised by the Diocese of Gozo on Thursday, 6th May 2008, was attended by a large number of devotees of St Gorg Preca whose remains are revered in the MUSEUM Society's Headquarters in Hamrun.

The Chorus Urbanus animated the Mass which was held at the Auditorium of the Headquarters with the tomb of San Gorg prominently displayed at the background. Various  a cappella motets were sung by the Choir throughout the Mass. At the end the Choir sang the popular hymn in honour of San Gorg Preca accompanied by the congregation present.

After the Mass, the members of the Choir had time to visit the Shrine on the other side of the Saint's tomb.
