As part of the Centenary Celebrations of the Fontana Parish, the Chorus Urbanus participated in two main occasions which were the main highlights of these celebrations.

Investiture Ceremony and High Mass in Fontana

The Choir participated in the Investiture Ceremony of the first Gozitan Knights of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre which was held during a High Mass presided by H.L. Bishop Bathish, Vicar to the Patriarch of Jerusalem and H.L. Archbishop Emanuel Gerada on Sunday, on 30th January 2005 at the Fontana Parish Church at 10.00 hrs. President Emeritus Guido de Marco was also in attendance.

Literary and Musical Soiree in Fontana

The Chorus Urbanus, the Junior Section and a String Chamber Orchestra conducted by Mro. John Galea took part in a literary and musical soiree as part of these centenary celebrations at the Fontana Parish on Sunday, 30th January 2005 at 18:30 hrs. The distinguished audience included the President of Malta, Dr Edward Fenech Adami, H.E. Bishop Bathish, Vicar to the Patriarch of Jerusalem, H.E. Archbishop Emanuel Gerada, Grand Prior of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem plus other distinguished guests.
