The Annual General Meeting of the Chorus Urbanus was held on Saturday 10th February 2007 at Sala Kaccatur, Marsalforn at 7.00pm. The meeting was opened by the General Secretary's report on the participation of the Choir in cultural and religious events during the past year. Mr George Borg outlined the Choir's achievements during the last year with particular reference to some major events mainly the choral tour in Alsace, the world premiere of the Oratorio "Il Cuore di Cristo" in its Italian version n the occasion of the unveiling of the national monument commemorating Pope John Paul II as well as the highly successful Christmas Concert that was held at Astra Theatre with the participation of the National Orchestra.

Architect Edwar Scerri, the incumbent President thanked all members present for their effort and dedication which were the key to the successes achieved so far by the Choir. He encouraged the members to continue showing the same enthusiasm as this is the only way how to maintain the present quality level and therefore the reputation of the Choir.

Mro. Galea, speaking also from a more technical point-of-view outlined what in his opinions are the Choir's strengths and indicated what can be further improved. By always aiming high, one can guarantee that the quality level will not only be maintained but will be improved. He thanked all members for their commitment and indicated that other large projects are in the pipeline. However the success of such projects lies entirely in the hands of the members.

The meeting ended with a discussion among the members during which suggestions were put forward and which were discussed with the Choir's officials. The incumbent main officials, mainly the President and the General Secretary of the Choir were confirmed in their positions. The new committee was formed and now is comprised of the following officials:
