West side is often said to be the musical of the 20th century. It is the story of Romeo and Juliet set in new york in the 1950's and is a certifiable masterpiece. The music and lurics are great, the story, of cource, also is.
In this show I made friends with Matt Frawley (still dont know if this was a good or bad idea) and tried desperately to get with any of the abundant hot guys. Well that's what everyone else was doing! It stands alone in my memory of shows as the only show where I've ever actually got to do some real acting. baby john has some very emotional scenes and alot of shit happens to him and it really was a chance to act a bit.
