ChordsIL, The independent Israli chords site, was created into the vacuum created
by the systematic plug-pulling policy ACUM has been conducting against Israeli
chords archives all over the Web. Into a reality where Israeli music is nowhere
to be found on the net emerged this site... But beyond this dramatic prologue, this site was built according to a philosophy that rejects copyright violations - the chords that can be found here wheere all transcribed by the creator of this site (I got by with a little help from my friends...), none where taken from books published by the original artists. An example if you will: Aviv geffen published a book with all the chords and notes of his first 5 albums (highly recommended, by the way) - none of these songs will be found in this site. What can be found? many other songs of a growing list of artitsts. Unfortunately, there can be no requests, since the persecution atmosphere led by ACUM is forcing the site to be on the underground side. Let's hope that if you can't reach me, so can't they... ChordsIL is delighted to present you an archive (however small...) of Israeli chords. Play them and be happy. |
