<<-- This is my car. It's a 2002 Hyundai Sonata. When this picure was taken, I had just gotten the windows tinted. The next thing to come is the EuroLite Xenon Super Plasma bulbs for the low beams and fog lights. Later, I will buy another pair for the high beams.
This is the 2.4 Liter Inline 4 cylinder -->> Sirius engine. It's not a bad engine, just that there are absolutely no performance parts for it which really sucks. So in order for me to get any extra power out of it, everything will have to be custom made. In fact, there is a Cold Air Intake system I am designing for it, and a custom cat-back exhaust system which should be coming up shortly.
<<-- To install the EuroLite bulbs, or to do any bulb replacement, the whole headlight unit has to be removed. This is very simple to do. Just take out the three screws holding the unit in, push down slightly on the bumper in front of the headlights, at the same time, lift up a little on the headlight unit and pull forward. At this point, you can detatch both plugs that connect to the back of the unit. The only tricky bulb to get to is the driver's side fog light. You have to lay on your back and come in from under the bumper. If you have the resinator box removed from the intake, you won't have this problem,
This is not the best picture, but it will -->> have to work for now. I will try to get a better one soon. As for the Xenon low beam bulbs on the left, you can see a little difference between them and the high beams. In person, you can see a big difference between the two. To the right is my brother's '98 Ford Contour with Piaa Ultra Whites for low and high beams. Again, the picture does it no justice at all. Notice the Sonata looks kinda like the 2nd Gen Tibby from the front at night!!
This is my other -->> brother's 2000 Elantra. It has the 5-speed, 2.0 Liter Beta engine. That little thing is strong as hell, too! So far, the only things done to this car is tinted windows, Piaa Super Whites, and a modified air box.
<<-- We have never really raced yet, but I know it will give me a run for my money. I feel I can take him in the long run because 3rd gear is my pulling gear, but he always lets off right after I start pulling on him. then he says, "I was slowing down." ....Yeah Right!
