This is Larry Reed's 1965 Corvette Roadster. While it does not have the original 396ci engine, it does have a 1974 LS4 454 ci engine resting in the engine bay. (Only the cone-heads at NCRS would be able to tell the difference!) Larry has the best of both worlds, great gobs of torque while running on premium unleaded fuel. Other goodies include a 4 speed trans, factory side exhausts and knock off wheels. The car has only 3000 miles since a complete off chassis restoration with everything being brought up to show condition. The car has only been shown twice and he took home best in class at the first show and the people's choice trophy (the real non-prejudice award) at the second show.
