| After a continued study of my concept and through a few stages of thumbnail drawings I have come to realise that the style I am moving towards strays from the three previous artists. Something I have heard before has again resurfaced. I am know looking into Wassilly Kandinsky, a Russian Expressionist Painter (1866-1944). Here are a few examples of his style and works. |

| Several Circles has always been one of my favorite pieces by this artist. I just love how equally light and visually heavy the circles hang in the space. This piece will now become the focus of my design process for the series I am producing for class. |
The piece to the left is also by Kandinsky. I am choosing to showcasre this painting for it's handling of the materials. I will explore this as well in my coming series. |
