Police Quest
In Pursuit Of The Death Angel
Officer Sonny Bonds of the Lytton Police Department
enters the station, ready to go through the daily motions. He
takes a shower and attends his briefing for the day. All Sergeant
Dooley tells to the officers in the room is a little advice as
well as information about a missing vehicle. At this point, there
doesn't seem to be anything exciting yet. Sonny Bonds hits the
streets in his patrol car and responds to his first dispatch for
the day: a fatal car accident.
Bonds heads over to a small cafe to take a break with Steve, another
fellow officer in the LPD. Soonafter, Bonds finds himself having
to deal with some everyday disturbances, including the presence
of tough bikers nearby. As a traffic officer, he also ends up
pulling over a speeding woman who uses her charm to get out of
a ticket. Bonds also must deal with a drunken man behind the wheel.
Police work can often be typical and mundane.

Upon returning to the station, Dooley gives a more
serious briefing about a missing person by the name of Jose Martinez.
He also puts the search for the missing vehicle as a priority
for the officers. The Traffic Division of the LPD heads out on
patrol. Sure enough, Sonny Bonds spots the car and pulls it over.
He, along with Jack Cobb as backup, arrest the driver initially
identified as Marvin Hoffman. The suspect is found to be linked
to drug trafficking.
With the town of Lytton being flooded with drugs and crime, Sonny
expresses much interest in the matter. He is transferred to the
Narcotics Division to work more on the case. His work involves
a closer examination of Hoffman's file and the evidence taken
from the arrest. Bonds even has to go to the Lytton Courthouse
to keep Hoffman behind bars for good. Otherwise, Hoffman might
do a lot of damage.
Bonds' detective work may lead up to the ultimate ring leader
behind all the problems in Lytton: Jessie Bains, a.k.a. "The
Death Angel." Hoffman, whose real name is Jason Taselli,
as well as drug dealers in town are merely pawns in Bains's scheme.
Therefore, the only way to end it all is to confront the source
itself. The Lytton Police Department is beginning to make the
alleviation of drug trafficking their primary objective. They
might even have to seek the help of an unlikely ally: "Sweet
Cheeks" Marie Wilkans, an old high school classmate of Sonny.
